With Technip Chiyoda Joint Venture (For Technip Qatar) on Qatar Gas PMP (Plateau Maintenance Project), installation of new SRU and AGR facilities.
Duties:
Installation, Start-up and Commissioning of rotating, static and package Equipment for new SRU and AGR Process Facilities of Qatar Gas 1, LNG plant.
Prepare cost estimates, design specification scopes of work, scheduling and estimations, construction management, and project progress reporting.
Coordinate workflow within the team, execute mechanical engineering scope, reviewed mechanical drawing content, reinforced and promoted quality and safety standards, interfaced with client and vendor engineering staff of projects
Ensure successful completion of mechanical deliverables and monitoring of project performance for mechanical tasks, schedules and costs.
Perform engineering calculations as and where required to verify applicable code requirements. Reviewed and approved vendor design calculations. Experience in using customized calculation sheets for different design codes.
Liaison with other discipline leads and vendors.
Coordinating & supervising the sub-contractors in all aspects of the installation, pre- commissioning and commissioning of the equipment
Preparation of as-built drawings.
Design review, equipment selection, and installation supervision.
Startup, balancing, commissioning and handing over.
Site inspections and evaluations preparation of punch lists.
Preparation of erection packages, method statements & JSA.
Dealing with the client up to management level.
Solving of site technical issues as and when they arise.
Preparation of project procedures regarding installation and commissioning of equipment
Reviewing & accepting of sub-contractors’ method statements, JSA & project plans
P & ID Review & mark up
With CTJV (Chiyoda Technip Joint Venture) on Qatar Gas projects (QGX & QCS), building four LNG Mega trains, world’s largest LNG trains with output of 7.8 MMTA each, plus supporting facilities (utilities, inlet, waste water treatment) as Equipment Supervisor.
Duties:
Installation & Commissioning of GE’s Turbine Frame 9E & 6B, GENP’s Compressors MCL / BCL & ASI Motor Generator on Train 4 & Train 5
Installation & Commissioning of GE’s GTGs, Frame 6B with Brush generator
Installation & Commissioning of MHI Steam Turbines & compressors
APCI Companders Installation & Commissioning activities
Numerous pumps installation & commissioning from Ebara & NP
Various PMC activities like Lube Oil Flushing, Power Flushing & Air blowing
P & ID Review & mark up
Vibration analysis and implementation
Man management, control and coordination of workforces
Coordinating & supervising the sub-contractors in all aspects of the installation, pre- commissioning and commissioning of the equipment
The preparation of milestone schedules and ensuring that all dates are achieved.
