Developing and managing the college career services and engagement programs to over 3, 000 students and 6, 000 alumni, aiming to increase the depth and diversity of the relationships between the alumni within the college and to assist students and alumni in the development of career education and pursuit of employment opportunities.

• Plan, direct and control the activities of the center to ensure maximum productivity is achieved within the College’s standard level of performance.
• Supervise, train, motivate and appraise performance of the staff and satisfy individual and development needs.
• Implement and supervise operational standards, coordinate and maintain standard procedures.
• Oversee and manage the center.
• Develop and maintain an up to date alumni database.
• Develop and maintain a close collaboration and working relationship with various industries in Kuwait to create employment opportunities for ACK graduates.
• Liaise with various departments to obtain information regarding existing students and graduates who are employed-ready to aid their employment process and search.
• Plan career fairs on campus.
• Organize campus career days with employers for conducting interviews with alumni for the purpose of job placement.

Selected Key Achievements

Event Planning - Career Fair - Led the establishment of the first ever Career Fair at ACK in 2015. Since then, the hosting of a Career Fair has been a key feature of ACK’s calendar. In March 2018, under my stewardship, ACK hosted one of largest Career Fair events in Kuwait. Through the use persuasive returns on partnership I developed, the March 2018 Career fair attracted over 50 prestigious companies, more than 3, 000 visitors. Further, a record 100 of graduates were hired on the spot during the two-day career fair event. The Career Fair of March 2018 can be found on YouTube: ACK Career Fair 2018.

Student Engagement - Huawei ICT Skill Competitions and China Educational Trips - Organized and led students delegation to China and contributed to the highest participation of students among all the universities in Kuwait in both campaigns for the last two consecutive years. Our students scored first nationally and second internationally in the ICT Skill Competition in China where the College received the Best College Excellence Award among all the universities in Kuwait. A total of 20 students and alumni went to China on a two-week educational trip fully sponsored by the company.

Alumni Engagement - Alumni Gatherings - Organized successful alumni gatherings on campus and off campus in collaboration with the Schools to over 500 alumni, whereby results of alumni feedback were used to enhance the curriculum and manage the college’s external relations and partnerships.
Strategic Partnerships - Memorandum of Understanding - Created new businesses though community involvement and active public relations programs, as the active contribution in Memorandum of Understanding between the College and the British Council, the National Bank of Kuwait, Boeing Company, and Siemens.

Contribution to the College’s Advisory Board - Facilitated the placement of four prominent people from the industry in the College’s Advisory Board: President of Boeing, Huawei Director, Chairman of Burgan Bank and Az-Zour Refinery Director.

Career Services - Job Placement - Facilitated on campus interviews for students and alumni with prestigious companies that resulted in an on spot hiring of more than 150 students and alumni.

Career Development Workshops - Organized a number of career development workshops to students and alumni with LinkedIn, Injaz, Bayt.com, Career Hunters among others to ensure career readiness of our students.

impact teaching and learning.
