Responsible of
• Conducts and directs activities to identify potential hazards and develops safety action plans to correct any non-compliance issues and work with operations and management for implementation
• Delivers and coordinates safety training for management and field personnel in accident prevention techniques, compliance with IES safety policies, procedures and programs and federal and state standards
• Develops and provides safety training that is trade-related and delivery training in the classroom. This will include hands on demonstrations, class outlines, presentations, handouts, tests, design exercises
• Assist in the development of short and long term plans for the safety program, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance
• Reviewing applications or other documents to determine the acceptance or to make recommendations for management decisions related to the program
• Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
