Providing full technical and managerial service in respect to Electrical works (Electrical, Fire Alarm, Public Address, CCTV, Telephone, Cable TV Networks, and BMS etc.) by direct coordination with the MEP Subcontractors.
Working in close coordination with the architectural/ structural/ civil engineering department to ensure that all builders’ works are supplied as required.
Coordinating and reviewing shop drawings, material submittals and method statements such that information is obtained in line with the required construction program. Organizing coordination meetings as and when required with all relevant parties and ensure any issues of conflict are address and draw to the attention of the client’s consultant.
Reviewing the Tender Documents, design drawings etc after the job is awarded.
Bill of Quantities (BOQ) analysis, Tender & Issued for Construction (IFC) Drawing analysis
Design check of entire Electrical System
Familiarize with BS, IEEE, Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), QGEWC etc.
Review and Submission of Material Technical Submittals & Shop drawings
Preparation of Method Statements for the Electrical Services (activities)
Preparation of Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP)
Organizing Coordination meetings, Quality review meetings & preparation of minutes of meeting
Follow up with Subcontractors, Consultant & inter departments
Review and Internal inspection of Material Approval Submittals (MAS) as per specifications
Inspection of materials after delivery at site and Monitoring of work and quality at site
Inspection Requests (IRs) for the work done at site
Recording the status of work at site
Preparation and submission of weekly status of work with quality observations
Preparation & Checking of Snagging, De-snagging, Handing Over, Compliance to Handing Over for the project
