• Proactively and continuously review, assess, and identify risk within Retail Environment (DTC) and eCom,
responsible for over 50 Stores across UAE.
• Reduce and mitigate risk with implementation of comprehensive risk reduction strategies and
countermeasures.
• Conduct retail store compliance audits to ensure adherence/compliance to defined controls, policies, and
procedures (Hou, Inventory Control, CIA). To analyse/report findings and ensure remediating actions/action
plans are followed by Retail Management, showing significant improvement in compliance score year on year.
• Review, monitor, and manage retail data (shrinkage/cycle counts/stock counts) affecting P&L of retail stores
(DTC) & eCom and develop, recommend and implement comprehensive countermeasures to eliminate or
minimize losses.
• Conduct retail investigations and eCom in accordance with relevant professional standards, legal
requirements, and internal policies and procedures, and complete timely reports/findings to relevant
stakeholders utilising Case Management platform.
• Perform data analysis for POS high-risk transactions (e.g. shrinkage, post-void/return & exchange, staff
discounts, etc) reviewing data on specific tools to identify exceptions and fraud indicators and initiate reviews /
investigations / management reporting

Plan, schedule, and Conduct loss prevention/internal audit activities in organisations Retail, F&B, and Warehouse segments within agreed timelines.
•Review and verify: Revenue collections, Invoice authorizations, Access controls, House floats, Inventory shrinkage, Discount, refund, return, and void management, Manually generated Invoices, SOP Compliance, and Fixed Assets. .

•Discount analysis on a weekly basis to ensure stores are adhering to limits provided and that they are approved by management.
•Consolidation of reports and presentations to senior management (Retail Director, CFM) for recommendations and actions on monthly frequency.
•Reports addressed are taken forward by Audit Committee to the Board on remediation and action plan implementation status.

INVENTORY CONTROLLER at Al Shamsi Holdings LLC

Maintain an accurate and proper inventory for all stores as well as the distribution center.
•Update stock movements including Purchases received, inter-store transfers, and keeps track of all store movements.
•Segregate the details of damages without credit note which are approved by the brand manager store wise and sends the summary to higher management highlighting the percentage of damage against total turnover. Ensures that these are removed from the stores once this is approved by the management team and advice the warehouse to collect the same for either destruction or for charity with valid proof.
•Update the Master file as received from the supplier in the system via FTP, master file contains barcodes of the new items with their prices.
•Compare the quantity and value of credit notes received from the supplier for the old season.
•Validate and finalizes the Half year and end of Year stock take done in all the stores by comparing the store's stock register against the Inventory system.
•Communicate the result of stock take to higher management through Inventory results highlighting the discrepancy details based on both quantity and value during the inventory period and providing details of missing articles on both item and category levels for further investigation of shrinkages by the auditing team.
•Communicate the root cause of inventory shrinkage based on Item level analysis to the higher management including the brand manager so that actions to prevent stock loss can be implemented.
•Ensure inventory book closing on a monthly and yearly basis after analyzing the sales margin for each store.
•Generate weekly and monthly stock movement reports and category-wise summary reports to all the stores and follow up to ensure these are acknowledged by the store in charge by collecting signed soft copies of both reports.
•Ensure that the stock file is generated from the system after half-year and end-of-year inventories, and these are sent to the Brand in the specific format required by the supplier.
•Analyze the result of physical inventories and manual counts done during the resignation or transfer of store managers or store in charge and communicates the results to higher management including the HR team.
•Update the Price changes in the system based on season-wise promotions and markdowns.
•Processing sales orders for Items sent from Warehouse to outstation stores.
•Coordinate with the stores, warehouse, and higher management to resolve stock-related queries.
•Support inventory staff and conduct physical inventories during half-year and End of Year stock takes.
•Monitor the pricing for promotional items during brand sales.
•Support all clearance sale activities conducted in the head office.
•Maintain all accurate records of Stock takes, Shipments, Credit notes, and written-off damages. .
