Rig Major Responsibilities
Keeps alert and monitors equipment at all times through sight-smell-sound process, so as to avoid any possible break down of equipment. Also reports to on a day to day basis about the equipment status.
Responsibility includes Maintenance of rig and camp equipment as per company Manufacture & Industry Standards and procedures.
Operations, Planning & Communication:Carries out maintenance of all Electrical equipment on rig/camp safely and efficiently as per planned preventive maintenance system. Also reports to on a day to day basis about the equipment status and also liaises with him for maintenance /repair/overhauling of equipment.
Logistics:Plans and prepares the movement of rig &Responsible for material planning and ordering of spares & equipment in line with company requirement to maintain the rig budget within the financial year.
Human Resources: Maintains good relations with the all rig crew members. Monitors the performance of his subordinates and corrects them by training. Assists Tool Pusher with appraisals of his subordinates.
