I work on checking every drug written by the physician in prescicreptions of patients for dosage, interactions and suitability before being prepared and administrated to the patient.
The round is an integral part of the patient's medical team.
· Preparation of strile, accurate, revised, medication doses and iv admixtures in clean room and laminar airflow cabinets.
· Answering medication inquiries ranging from drug protocols and dosing to drug interactions and adverse effects.
· Accurate and sterile preparation of Total Parenteral Nutrition,
TPN calculations.
· Nowadays I search with my team about pediatric renal antimicrobial doses and How to correct hyponatremia in kidney patient.
· Attending seminars in our clinical pharmacy unit about ( IV fluids, TPN ).
Educating the new attending clinical pharmacists about their integral role as clinical pharmacists and essential part of the medical team
Counsling, answering costumer questions about drugs, illustrate how to use drugs what is it for, when to take, side effect and drug interaction
Organize the work between the pharmacy employers
