Key Responsibilities
• Leading the team of supervision engineer(s)
• Supervising over all construction from start to finish
• Review, liaise, supervise & approval of project program & schedule(s).
• Creating the teams, developing the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities
• Project accounting responsibility including managing the budget, tracking of team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk of the project
• Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule also devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when need arises
• Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
• Co-ordinate the efforts of all stake holders involved in the project, which include the architects, Sub consultants, Design team, Contractors & ID
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold status meetings with all the sub-teams.
• Periodic inspections of construction sites, oversee project HSE & quality parameters are met
• Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims.
• Serve as a key link with the clients and review the deliverable prepared by the team before passing onto client
• Review claims, variations & sending recommendations for client’s action.
• Issuing EI’s & SI’s
Project: Al Bahar Towers for Abu dhabi investment council
Responsible for contract management as engineer of record.
• Project correspondences with all Contractors and clients.
• Implementation quality control procedures for works at site.
• Monitoring the implementation safety measures at site.
• Coordinating between site inquiries and relevant main office departments including design changes and actual site conditions.
• Supervision and Construction management for site activities.
• Checking monthly invoices before submitting to client.
• Preparing weekly & monthly progress reports
• Following up the sub-contractors, clarifications, approvals, design & shop drawing approvals and materials approvals.
• Following up materials procurement & delivery to site of critical items.
• Following up the local authorities procedures and coordinate the same with the contractor.
• Conducting and preparing minute’s of progress, contractual, design and coordination meetings.
• Evaluating/ recommending cost & time claims.
• Coordinating with end users & amending changes required to suite their requirements without causing majors delays in the project along with minimal cost impact on the over all project (if required).
• Post tender & post contract correspondence in accordance with applicable code of practice (FIDIC).
FITOUT works: Coordination, approval & supervision of various floors for exclusive clients.
Bay side residence: 3B+G+Promenade+21 storey tower at Dubai Marina.
B+G+3 Emirates Security H.O Building: for Trans Guard (Dubai Airport Free Zone).
Golden Sand X: B+G+7 storey residential building partially glazed & with fair face walls, squash court, swimming pool, sauna etc.
Sedki building: G+7 storey residential building.
Al Moosa Tower 2: G+30 storey tower with 15 level separate car park building, fully glazed with high internal finishes.
Wild Wadi External finishes & water feature finishes, rockwork in association with French company, namely, AAB.
Jumeirah Hilton: B+G+10 storey hotel building with partial glazing, excellent interiors, swimming pool, health club, landscaping & sewage treatment plant.
Palace in Umm-Suqaim: Development of 60, 000sqm area, main villa, majlis, 10 service buildings, stone cladding, extensive landscaping with water features, swimming pool, rockwork etc.
G+1 Luxury villa in Barsha, swimming pool, service building & landscaping.
