Joined the SCM department to manage the inventory and implement strategies for accurate recording
of consumption across the organization, planning, execution and reconciliation of full physical
inventories and cycle count processes in all asset locations as well as control of inventory throughout
the distribution process. Developed controls and recommended ERP changes which helped to reduce
the stock variances by 20%. Participated in major projects like Warehouse relocation, barcoding
across the organization, lead and organized multiple stock takes as required by the management.
Additionally, the duties involved:
• Managing security and accountability of inventory across the org including main warehouse,
clinics, OT, critical units, and pharmacy with a team of nineteen staff.
• Recommended solutions to streamline operations and deliveries to achieve reduction in delay
time with a particular focus on inventory planning. This helped in bringing the inventory closer to
the optimal levels.
• Monitored and supervised operational procedures and implemented strategies and processes

Operation Theatre Stock Controller at Mediclinic Middle East

Joined the Operation Theatre to establish control and implement policies in order to reduce the
variances, initiated a complete revamp of theatre inventory process with updates on billing process,
stock management, surgeon’s preference cards etc. for accurate charge capture and enabled the
new charging system to be smoothly implemented with minimal losses; this helped in reduction of
stock variances up to 18 %, inventory value by 11%. Additionally, the role was responsible for:
Procurement:
• Negotiated prices, deals and discounts; communicated with the manufacturers to locate local
agents to fulfill new product requirements based on the product evaluation by the surgeon.
• Arranged supplies on consignment and loan basis as per the requirement
• Created item codes in the Inventory Master as per the corporate naming convention policy and
HCPCS coding system
