• Checking and planning itineraries
• Assisting with group quotations
• Budget Control
• Liaising with overseas offices and agents regarding operational questions
• Sending booking requests to suppliers, negotiating with suppliers, updating Tropics, chasing suppliers for replies and booking confirmations
• Reconfirming hotels, Pre & Post night accommodation
• Organizing private airport transfers for clients
• Briefing Travel Directors prior departure
• Dealing with booking cancellations and amendments
• Finalizing departures
• Loading bookings onto Tropics and ensuring all required paperwork has been provided
• Liaising with our Travel Directors during the trip, monitoring that our guests expectations are not just met but exceeded
• Respond to all TD issues with suppliers (Hotels, local guides, restaurants etc.)
• Read TD Reports after the tour is completed, seek feedback if you have anecdotal evidence that an issue exists and escalate to the relevant Manager
• Liaising with Account Department to answer queries related to bookings and accounts queries
