• Responsible for leading, managing and overseeing the entire architectural project(s) on a day-to-day basis from the Schematic Design/Conception phase through to Design Development, Construction Drawings, Bidding/Contract Negotiation, Construction Administration and Closeout phases.
• Create, print and modify drawings in AutoCAD; supervise preparation of technical drawings by architectural technicians, CAD technicians and drafters. Mentor less experienced architects and interns and train new architectural team members.

• Observe project performance and coordinate workload through the entire project to complete documents on schedule.
• Study the financial aspect of projects; organize construction documents and assume responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and management approval of materials and construction.
• Participate in mapping out program requirements, schematic drawings, and preliminary cost estimates to be used in establishing guidelines for contract architects and engineers. Meet municipal building department and governing agency officials for approvals.
• Ensure that construction projects meet environmental, safety, structural and aesthetic standards.
• Discuss zoning laws, fire regulations and building codes with city and county government agencies.
• Monitor the progress of the project and ascertain whether phases of the construction process are in compliance with building plans and project deadlines. Create new and innovative approaches to problems and discuss strategies with project managers.
• Attend team meetings to resolve technical and project issues, coordinate with team members and review project schedules.
• Researched, programmed, planned, designed, and administered building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems.
