• Contributes to the development of the operational strategy (StratOp) in line with the HI Strategy.
• Together with line manager defines and leads the implementation of the program's MEAL action plan.
• Drives the performance of his/her department by setting individual objectives, evaluate performance, mentor-ing/Coaching and capacity building.
• Contribute in partner’s selection process by reviewing their MEAL and/or IM policies and procedures. Try to ensure MEAL and IM functions are integrated in their respective contracts following HI’s standards and donor require-ments.
• Is responsible for designing and adopting context specific monitoring, evaluation, accountability, knowledge and information management system in their geographic area, following HI’s standards.
• To ensure the MEAL system setup at various projects are consistent with each other that allows the consolidation of information with a view to the overall management of the program.
• Contributes to the improvement of HI's response within its geographical scope
• Contribute to the definition and improvement of the quality of projects in relation with the global frameworks, tech-nical standards of HI and defined by PME Policy (PMEP)
• To contribute in strengthening of current Information Management system (IMS) and Quality Assurance
• Contributes to the ownership of program and HI learning frameworks and methodologies at the hub level.
• Ensures external representation and promotion of HI's expertise in its field.
Coordinating the Project/Program tasks with respect to monitoring and evaluation activities, including the preparation of project M&E plans. Propose respective budgets related to drafted MEAL plans. Support inputs, process, outputs and outcomes monitoring activities at field level. Ensuring that M&E data is reliable, appropriate, to the HI management and all concerned departments and other stakeholders. Collect observations, best practices and identify improvement areas at the field level. Gather and support analysis of lessons learnt from field monitoring visits. Regularly maintain both the project/program output progress matrix and support IM officer/ project man-agers and technical staff in developing and implementing data collection tools. Maintain Project/program-based monitoring logs on best practices and improvement areas. Assist MEAL team and project managers in designing baseline, mid-term and final evaluation using a com-bination of quantitative and qualitative methods. Support needs assessments/baseline/end-line and/or other surveys in data collection, analysis and report-ing. Contribute to the maintenance and modification of HI mission database(s). Provide input to the development of knowledge management material such as briefers, human interest stories, case studies and related material as and when required. Coordinate in the capacity building of project staff on participatory monitoring and evaluation. Generate quality monitoring and project progress and periodic reports as and when desired by HI man-agement. Support to identify the issues at the grass root level received through feedback mechanism of the HI and coordinates the response with the stakeholders, as assigned
Perform all PDM assessments, mid-term monitoring exercises and other feedback mechanisms as request-ed; Support program teams through conducting the first level of analysis of collected data, including identifica-tion of emerging trends/themes; Conduct spot checks of beneficiary case files to ensure correct documentation has been collected for dif-ferent types of assistance; Perform routine follow-up calls with outreached beneficiaries to monitor staff treatment of house-holds/individuals who may have not been assisted directly with services; Monitor the quality of program activities through regular field monitoring visits at ICMC offices and of activities run through other service providers, including all distributions to beneficiaries; Ensure quality of data collected by program teams through data cleaning and verifying the accuracy of reported data; Support in data collection activities for sector specific assessments and reports and to inform new grant proposals; Maintain M&E folders on shared drive by keeping them up to date and consistent with ICMC ‘s guidelines on filing, file sharing and data protection; Identify beneficiaries complaints/needs/suggestions received through the post and mid distribution moni-toring process to inform programming
Work with Databases and spreadsheets. Enter all the data received into the database program. Enter number of cases in a timely and quality manner per week that meet the Programme target number of cases. Accuracy in recording data Source, analyse and process information

* Follow regulations governing the Work Travel program as well as MIDEMP policies and guidelines. Comply
with training initiativesfrom MIDEMPand independently update knowledge and skills about how MIDEMP
programs can benefit seasonal employers in the Region.
* Provide supportand assistance to all MIDEMP Candidates in theRegion in accordancewith training provid-
ed by Cagliari City office/ Italy.
