First Aid at Work Certificate. First Aid at Work Trainer Assessor. Pool Plant Operator Level 3. Notice Required: 4 weeks. Brief Work Experience to Date: 2006 -Present. Duty Manger/Swim Manager/In House Trainer for Nuffield Health Fitness and Wellbeing. Present Responsibilities cover a number of roles: As Duty Manager: • Opening of The Club including opening Health and Safety Checks, • Meeting and Greeting Clients, • Dealing with Complaints, • Dealing with any staffing issues, • Tour new Clients, • Sales, • Cash Handling and Checking, • Covering other departments e.g. Front of House and Lifeguarding, • Dealing with any First Aid issues including resuscitation and Pool rescues, • Closing procedures for the Club. As Swim Manager: • Organise the Swim Program, • Organise the rebooking at the end of term, • Achieve Monthly and Yearly Targets, • Recruitment of new Teachers and Lifeguards as needed, • Registers, ordering of badges, payroll, • Organising end of year Awards event evening and Swim Gala, • Pool Chemical Testing, • Backwashing of Spa. As In House Trainer: • Ensure new staff members are A.E.D. First Aid at Work, Evacuation Chair and N.P.L.Q Trained, • Conduct Monthly Staff Training for the above, • Travel to other Nuffield Clubs to assess Candidates for the above, • Organise and Run N.P.L.Q and First Aid at Work Courses. Outside of my main duties I also teach 1-1 swim lessons for all ages and abilities from Beginners to Tri-Athletes, Children and Adults. 2002-2007 Swim Teacher for Warwick Prep School. • Taught Children of all ages between 3yrs to 11yrs.
