Plant Maintenance Department (Styrene Plant)
• Lead, manage, coach and facilitate a multi-discipline maintenance team comprising Staff, crafts and contractors to provide an efficient, effective and economic maintenance service to ensure process plants and facilities on production units are suitable for safe and reliable operation to meet the business objectives.
• Perform role as core turnaround team leadership, and responsible for Scope, Resources, Risk and Readiness.
• Ensure integrity, reliability and availability of facilities to meet business needs.
• Support Routine Maintenance for the facilities in the area to deliver cost, duration, safety and quality targets.
• Responsible for the maintenance team that supports Styrene plant.
• Provide technical advice on the condition and integrity of plant equipment, support reliability teams to ensure sustainable improvement to asset performance and integrity and implement strategies for improvement of maintenance effectiveness and cost levels.
• Responsible for the preparation of annual maintenance budget for the area and continuously monitor its expenditure.
• Analyze and approve plant changes in mechanical field of expertise.
• Select, coach and develop staff with the aim to identify and close knowledge/skill gaps.
• Contribute to the continuous growth and development of skills via identification of development opportunities for staff.
• Seek, challenge and encourage improvements in contractors' safety performance, improvement in productivity and working towards best in class targets.
• Share knowledge and learning with other Maintenance Managers and Engineering Discipline Heads to improve overall plant maintenance performance.
• Ensure quality of execution and to avoid / minimize repeat failures and reworks in maintenance.
Plant Maintenance Department (Ethylene Plant)
• Ensure optimization of maintenance strategies, analysis of all critical static equipment failures and recommendation for corrective measures
• Review daily/weekly maintenance activities and minimize maintenance interruptions
• Possess MTA (Major Threat Availability) process for Ethylene plant
• Provide technical support to review/approve material specification, functionality, maintenance plan, and method of statements
• An effective and reliable engineer to resolve static equipment issues
• Involve to conduct internal audits reviews to identify shortcomings and observations
• An active participant to promote safety culture and standards
• Report & follow-up findings with Defect Elimination department
• Provide technical support for stationary equipment related to plant Turnaround
• Focal point for stationary equipment scope & finding in Ethylene Turnaround 2016
• Support Project Life Cycle by reviewing design and scope prior to detailed engineering
• Prepare Department Monthly Report
• Verify required materials and reduce unnecessary procurement
• Review/Coordinate MOC processes with its associated assessments
• Full responsibility of temporary repairs covering permanent SOW, planning, and technical
review/approval
• Review/Approve engineering drawings and materials specifications
• Benchmark best practices for maintenance & inspection strategy related to furnaces
• Recognized as a single point of contact for all maintenance and s/d activities
• Giving full empowerment to plan performance measure and set target KPIs for maintenance related issues
• Lead planned/unplanned Ethylene's Furnaces' Shutdown
• Appointed continuously to cover Maintenance Manager during his leaves
Methods & Reliability Division
• Work with various types of rotating machinery (pumps, compressors, turbines etc.)
• Involve in plant commissioning and startup preparations
• Provide periodic support for rotating equipments maintenance
• Participate in RCA sessions
• Review critical equipment specifications & process parameters
• Monitor performance of critical rotating equipment
• Review and analyze vibration and displacement of rotating equipment by online and offline monitoring system including System 1
Engineering Department
• Report construction and engineering progress for the Top Management (daily, weekly, and monthly)
• Participate in pre-commissioning/commissioning and start-up activities
• Create and develop Asset Management Register
• Prepare PdM, PM and FMEA plans
• Develop Mechanical Practice Standards and Procedures
• Engage in the Project Management and Maintenance Workshops
• Assign to provide training sessions for new incomers
