Former Head of MIS and Business Intelligence at Bank Audi - Egypt
  • Egypt - Cairo
  • January 2008 to May 2021

Direct and control a cross-functional team of developers. Orchestrate a data warehouse environment with and through Oracle Business Intelligence and Qlikview .
Currently; working as the information hub for Bank Audi Egypt. My division provides information bank wide; senior management reports, finance division reports, budgeting and planning. We provide reports that are sent to regulatory bodies such as Central Bank of Egypt. We provide Reports to retail division, Treasury division, branches, and corporate finance and all other lines of business in the bank.
Going back in time to the time I was hired, there were no MIS in the sense of unified source of data, timely fashioned reports…etc. I started at the retail division where I have successfully established Retail-MIS that shed lots of light on the retail activities such as loan booking turnaround time, the level of faulting loans, reports of the delinquent clients that enabled collection department to decrease the retail loan loss provisions.
On the way to establish the centralized MIS division at Bank Audi Egypt I was transferred from Retail to Finance where I can serve bank wide (instead of only Retail) in Bank Audi Egypt. With focus on finance reports, me and my team successful transformed to way information was delivered and time consumed to deliver it. I worked on delivering control reports, providing data to budgeting and planning for reports such as profitability, starting by bank profitability, by line of business, by branch down to by client profitability. Worth mentioning that I kept working with retail while I was moved to finance, in fact I enlarged the scope of MIS to serve new areas, corp. finance, Treasury, Branches, Credit Risk, Audi, and last but not least Senior Management.
In the way to achieve the above MIS have also built some work around solutions (applications) to overcome the absence of some software facilities.

Management Information Systems Head at BLOM Bank - Egypt
