• I was able to monitor the civil works construction contractor EPC-JV/Sub-contractor for the construction of these units, 3-ARDS units, 3-CDU units, 1-SGU unit, 3-DHT units, 2-NHT units, 2-KHT units & 1-HOC unit, with the following scope of responsibility
• Delegate civil work boundaries with my fellow Construction Engineers (Civil discipline)
• Assisting fellow civil works construction engineers with their respective reporting and progress mark-up

• Ensuring all civil & structural related activities are complete and in compliance with approved IFC/Standard drawings, Shell DEP Specifications, and Code of Practice.
• Ensuring the quality civil & structural construction activities and to monitor all activities in compliance with approved QA/QC Procedure & Inspection and Test Plan
• Ensuring record for Quality Observation/s for any non-compliance discovered in site and verification of their corrective action which is in in-line with Project QA/QC standard practice
• Ensuring all HSE site observation/s record are on the record, to be able to let contractor made aware of all HSE site issues and to rest-assured that, all their corrective measure, recommendation & action are in accordance with their approved HSE submitted procedure and in compliance with PMC/PMT HSE standard practice.
• Ensuring that HSE compliance with all construction related activities regardless of discipline are in compliance with the Project approved HSE procedure/plan and WOOD/KIPIC/KNPC HSE standard.
• Ensuring all HSE preventive measure at site and being vigilant against HSE project requirement/s
I was able to monitor the construction contractor for the LNG Terminal Project activities ie., New LNG Platform(Pile/PC base/Cast in-situ Platform Slab & Catwalk), New LNG Mooring Dolphin (Pile/PC base/Cast in-situ Slab & Catwalk), Access Trestle(Pile/Pile cap/Cast in-situ pile cap/Trestle steel beams/PC slabs/Crash barriers), Pipe sleeper foundations, Metering skid foundation, Water bath heaters foundations, Road crossing foundations by type, Back pressure control valve, Marine civil works, Below ground road crossing works.
-Monitoring and coordinate activities of the construction contractors as to ensure that all construction activities are in compliance with approved procedures, drawings, project specs & applicable codes & standard.

-Develop and maintain functional responsibility for all construction personnel.

Construction Superintendent : Central Processing Facility-1 Brown Field (2-Crude Oil Tanks “30, 000CuM capacity each”, 2- Fire Water Tanks “5000CuM capacity each”, Gas Boot Foundation, Tank Dike Wall, Guard, Roads, Pump Station, 33 Kva Substation and Liquid Prepation Station ), Central Processing Facility-2 Green Field ( Evaporation Pond, OHTL-Over Head Transmission Lines, SWP/2-Service Water Plant, GRS-Gas Receiving Station, PWP-Produce Water Plant, FSF-Field Service Facility ) and Gas Processing Plant that composed of FCCU “Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit” ie., Hydrocarbon convert/breaks into different characteristics of gasoline for cars, cooking gas and lubrication oil by means of chemical process.
Construction Engineer : For Package 2 - Units-0730 ( Central Refrigeration ), 0731, 0732, 0733 & 0734 ( Solvent Regeneration ), Unit-0751, 0752, 0753, 754 ( Sulphur Recovery and Tail Gas Treating Units - Fire Proofed Cracking Unit Equipment & Structures ) and Unit-780 ( Power Generation ) covered the following activities Buildings ie Substation & Instrument/Electrical Station ( HVAC, Fire Fighting, PC/Cast-in place Structures, Transformer yards, U/G Oily sewer piping & Fire Proofed Steel Structures ) and Civil ie. “Equipment foundations, Pipe racks, E/I & piping trenches, Paving, Oily Manholes, Catch basins, FW Valve pits, Pumps, Skids, Vessels, Exchanger Structures - Cracking”
( Supervise HV & LV Substations buildings, Main office buildings, Communication tower building & steel works that compose of the following ie., HVAC, Fire Fighting & Alarm, Lost Prevention & Building Services interfaced with electrical equipment and central BAEMS controller )
I was able to assigned as Construction Supervisor in the Project, that composed of the following scope of responsibilities.
Supervising the EPIC Contractors during the execution phase of construction activities at construction project site.
Participating in reviewing detailed design drawings, method statements, material requisitions, and etc.
Coordinating mobilization of contractors on site.
Supervising and approve construction activities and co-ordinate various aspects of project construction including inspections, material submissions and working drawings from contractors, and processing documentation as required.
Daily monitoring on contractor’s staff and work carried out during the previous day in order to ensure compliance with prescribed contractual specifications.
Handling all aspects of Mechanical Construction activities including site investigations, site surveys and etc.
Supervising installation of Fire Electric/Diesel Pumps and Jockey pumps.
Supervising installation of deluge system piping works and underground fire fighting piping works.
Supervising installation of Fire water tanks.
Closely supervised the Sprinkler System.
Maintaining a daily record of progress (daily diary) noting special comments. Reports to supervisor work anomalies or contractual deviations committed by contractor personnel and recommend corrective actions.
Signing work permits on behalf of QP and to ensure that contractors compliance with conditions fixed on consolidated work permits
Participating in development of as-built drawings/documentation and dossiers
Preparing Punch list ie., MC/Pre-com/Commissioning for finished work prior to hand over to QP by contractor by paying special attention to all equipment including Quality checks.
Interfaced works with other QP Construction Supervisors (Elect./ Arch / Instrument).
Reporting to QP Lead Construction Supervisor on main issues, events at site, progress reporting, trends and recommendation for improvement.
Supervising contractor’s work that is in progress, inspecting work, reporting problems and preventing accidents occurring as a result of negligence, by enforcing QP safety standards on the work site.
Interfacing report with the QC Inspector on quality related matters.
Interfacing report with the HSE Supervisor on safety related matters.
Prepare daily report of activities and inform QP/asset holders( as per approved distribution matrix) of the progress/constraints and look ahead.
Physical checks to all Project permanent materials vide RFI/MRR in conformance to approved Material Approval Request & Material Requisition / Technical Bid Analysis.
Attending as client party inspection activity with manufacturer / vendor & equipment calibration.
Promote and drive the involvement of Construction in areas of schedule, preliminary execution planning, and cost estimating in line with the project scope of works.
Assisting the contractor with all related activities in Project Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning of the project.
Stands as reliever during rotation period of project colleagues.
