General results as: delivering from 4 hour/year of training to 30 hours/year of training per employee within budget and wide over the market. Project Manager for the following projects:
•The Manises Hospital for BUPA (Sanitas), a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project model with a construction budget of 55 million Euros and 212 bedrooms, 10 surgery rooms and complete related services. Valencia, Spain.
•The new Plaster Board Plant with a Design and Construction Management Service for British Plaster Board Gypsum (BPB- Saint Gobain). The project’s budget exceeded f 75 million Euros required for the construction and the assembly coordination of the process equipment. Madrid, Spain.
•The New Quality Control Laboratory and Offices Building for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals with an EPMC(Engineering, procurement, Construction Management) Agreement. The project value exceeded 6 million Euros including special laboratories furniture and equipment. Madrid, Spain.
•Several Due Diligences to Spanish companies of 7 buildings. Madrid, Spain.
As Quality and Environmental Director, was responsible for the implementation, development and continuous improvement of the Quality Management according to ISO 9001. Bovis Lend Lease Spain was certified in 2001. I also effectively implemented and developed the Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001. I was the Risk Management Champion responsible for the development of the construction projects risk analysis and Knowledge Management (KM) Liaison for the application of all the internal KM tools in Spain.
Responsible for the Quality Control teams in the projects where required by contract.
Responsible for the procurement of all the mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and communications equipment for the Multipipeline for Ecopetrol called the Poliducto de Tocanzipa.
Managed over 15 mill USD in procurement.
Responsible for the QA/QC compliance of the Ocensas Oil Pump Stations (6) managing 6 QC teams and several subcontractos of destructive and non destructuive tests.
Responsible for the technichal compliance of the project.
Project Value of 120 Million USD.
Responsible for the fabrication and erection of 6 oil storage tanks of 100.000 barrils each and the erection of two steamboilers for Klaipedos Nafta in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
Project value of 13.5 mill USD.
I had the responsibility for the budget, quality and time compliance. Managed a team of 4 colombians on site and several local subcontractors.
Responsible for the QC/QC Manager for the Civil works compliance of the Cusiana Central Production Facility in Colombia. I had in charged 4 people managing the site inspections and destructive & non destructive tests. I had to manage several test subcontractors.
Responsible for the buget, quality and time compliance of the concrete structures projects. Each project was about 2000 m2. I have managed successfully 7 concrete strutures.
Professional programme to get the Coach certification.
Master in Business Administration during one year full time dedicated. During my MBA course, leading in the Knowledge Management Investigation Project called “Human Resources Direction and Intellectual Capital Management" for the spanish companies. Te result was the publication of an article with the results of the investigation.
Swiss School in Bogotá Colombia, with german language education, passed the Sparch Diplo I & II levels.
