Responsibilities:
a) Support the Technology manager on Capex management at the sites, for innovation, convergence and capacity plans.
b) Support technology up-grades, capacity requirements, Innovation funnel input.
a) Support Commissioning (Post Dry Testing) of major projects. Troubleshooter with respect to product, process and packaging performance.
b) Supports SIMAS (safety in manufacturing &supply) and Risk assessment processes are applied in major Capacity or Innovation projects.
c) Support in defining and agreeing technical KPIs for the category SUs (OEE, waste, Line speed).
d) Support for Capex planning and implementation prioritization.
e) Support yearly review of the Cluster Category Industrial strategy
f) Feed site data to Technology Manager for CAPEX estimate & timeline for innovation.
g) Ensure the very highest technology standards and processes are implemented and are aligned to global specifications & standards.

a) Ensure smooth and trouble free operation of Sulphation process.
b) Supervise the packaging plan of the final product.
c) Monitor process and quality parameters.
d) Coordinate with QA laboratory for quality related issues of materials, finished products and packaging materials.
e) Supervise Process, Lab Technicians and support plant operations.
f) Meet shift production targets.
g) Statistical Analyzing for the process data and critical parameters.
h) Analyze statistical data of product parameters to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product.
i) Initiate proper start up and shut down activities.
j) Operate DCS control system for sulphonation process.
k) Preparing the consumption and stocks reports.
l) Prepare and implement the maintenance and production plan.
m) Ensure ‘Zero Personal Accident” status in shift.
n) Attending weekly safety meetings and daily safety circle meetings.
o) Ensure safety in maintenance and production activities.
p) Record unsafe actions and conditions.
q) Process loss adjustment and preparing suggestions to improve the process performance.
a) Comply with all safe working practices.
b) Study and apply the physical and chemical methods for separating the mineral from their ores.
c) Follow all parameters and fill in the log sheet as required.
d) Be fully knowledgeable of all activities for start up and shut down of plant.
e) Operate Scada control system for plant.
f) Process control and management.
g) Process design and development.
h) Develop and control methods of storing and treating waste material.
