Working as mechanical head in construction of ALOFT Hotel in Dubai, which consist from basement, ground, Four floors and Roof.
My scope of works was:
A. Preparation of material submittals for HVAC and Plumbing.
B. All Engineer works not limited to ESP calculation, Pump head calculation, Shop Drawings and verification of IFC design.
C. Lead the Team and supervise the execution.
D. Attendance of meetings with main contractor and Consultant.
Hotel in Abdon, Jordan which consist from common 4 basements, ground and 3 buildings of 17th floors.
My scope of works was:
•Lead the Team and supervise the execution.
•Preparation of material submittals for HVAC and Plumbing.
•Manage and follow up site works for all mechanical systems & other related works for the Project.
•Preparation of Shop Drawings as per specification and contract drawings.
•Attendance of meetings with main contractor and client.
•Calculate ESP for all FCU’s, AHU’s & Fans
•Calculate Head of all Domestic, chilled, heating and submersible pumps.
•Testing and Commissioning of HVAC and Plumbing Systems
A. Lead the Team and supervise the execution.
B. Manage and follow up site works for all mechanical systems & other related works for the Project.
C. Preparation Shop Drawings submittal as per specification and contract drawings.
D. Attendance of meetings when required.
E. Prepare builders work drawings.
F. Prepare coordination drawings.
G. Making A/C load calculation and redesign HVAC system due to 30% A/C load reduction.
H. Calculate ESP for all FCU’s, AHU’s & Fans
I. Calculate Head of all Domestic, chilled, heating and submersible pumps.
A. Mobilize the site activities for execution of MEP works.
B. Lead the Team and supervise the execution.
C. Presentation of all necessary documents such as Shop Drawings and Method Statements and Coordination with Main Contractor and Consultant.
D. Manage and follow up site works for all mechanical systems & other related works for the Project.
E. Preparation of Material Submittal and Shop Drawings submittal as per specification and contract drawings.
F. Make actual quantity take-off from approved shop drawings.
G. Procure the required materials and accessories to ensure on-time delivery at site.
H. Coordinate with all the services for execution as well as interacting with the consultants to improve the quality with cost effective methods. Monitoring work progress and keep all records.
I. Attendance of meetings when required.
J. Prepare builders work drawings.
K. Prepare coordination drawings.
L. Making A/C load calculation.
M. Calculate ESP for all FCU’s, AHU’s & Fans
A. Coordinate with Architect for Mechanical space requirements including location of mechanical floor, cooling tower, pump room, chillers.
B. Determine type of chillers to be used either water cooled chillers with cooling towers or air cooled chiller.
C. Attendance of meeting with client & main consultant.
D. Prepare Design Concept Report and discuss it with client then Tender Drawings and finally Issued for Construction Drawings.
E. Making A/C load calculation using HAP program.
F. Design Fire Fighting system based on NFPA and local Authorities regulations.
G. Design Drainage system based on BS Standard and local Authorities regulations.
H. Design Water supply system based on BS Standard, ASHREA Standard and local Authorities regulations.
I. Design HVAC system based on ASHREA Standard and local Authorities regulations.
J. Leading Engineers & Draughtsman, distributing the work and manage work progress.
K. Coordinate and obtain approval from local authorities.
L. Answering All RFI (Request for Information) send by Contractor and coordinate meetings if required.
M. Preparing Mechanical specification.
A. Designing of A/C & Plumbing services.
B. Coordinate and obtain approval from local authorities.
