ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITES
I been hired by the respective company as a MEP draftsman and positioned as Mechanical
Draftsman to work with mechanical department team. Where I’m successfully doing my
duties asunder.
· Hold position, with responsibility for implementing computer aided drafting
procedures that integrated seamlessly with existing traditional drafting
procedures.
· Developed shop drawings with all needed information to execute work at the
site like HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting.
· Draw all complicated sections & details to understand the drawings for
implementation & production.
· Prepare submittals of the shop drawings for consultant to get approval.
· Revise & resubmission, after clearing the consultant comments.
· Perform any modification that requested by the concerned engineer or technical
manager.
· Responsible to insure productivity & quality to meet the given deadlines.
· Transformation from soft to hard, by preparing layouts, performing scaling, pen
assignments and printing.
· Quantity take off for the material as per requirements or to assist the engineer &
technical team.
· Coordinate with other departments to insure the maximum productivity on time and
to avoid the confliction.
· Collaborated with engineers to improve drawing standards and drawing
consistency
· Interpreted input from technicians to resolve design issues and incorporated
solutions into drawings.
· Visit site to collect information in case of any alternation while fabrication than the
drawings to finalized the as built drawings.
· Customized AutoCAD to automate repetitive drafting tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Preparation shop drawings, Details, Sections, Profiles for the main transmission
lines like, (Water supply transmission line, Irrigation transmission line,
Firefighting line, Flush line etc) for Housing societies, vocational center &
universities.
· To prepare the shop drawings, Details & required data for the main gravity lines
like, (Sewage or Drainage gravity line, Storm or Rain water gravity line)
· Have a good knowledge in roads field.
· Proficient in making road profiles. Experience in leveling, cut fill, slope & making
super elevation for networks.
· Well experienced in preparing the networks drawings.
· Have a good experience to prepare the Details and Sections.
· Responsible for takeout the quantities for Electro mechanical equipment and
material.
· If not provided tender or contract drawings, responsible to make designing
according to specifications and BOQ.
· To take the quotations from suppliers.
· To Make Shop Drawings for Electrical & Mechanical.
· To Make the Shop Drawings. In Electrical like as (Lighting, Power, Low Current,
Fire Alarm System, T.V System, Cable Tray System & ETC)
· To Prepare the Mechanical drawings for HVAC system, Water supply & Drainage
System and Firefighting system.
· To Preparing the Shop Drawings, All water play system like as: (Swimming
Pools
· System, Jacuzzi Pond System, Hose & Fountain)
· To Revise the Commented Drawings.
· To Make the Coordination Drawing with other Trades.
· To Make the As Built Drawings.
