We are very active in the ELV contracts for In-flight catering building of New Muscat International Airport, data center project & GIS implementation at existing Muscat Airport
Site in charge with Project management & Technical Consultancy responsibilities for the new Tier IV data centre constructed by Central Bank of Oman, to cater the IT requirements of the financial regulator of nation with highest uptime availability. This is constructed as per the relevant Telecom International Association Standards (TIA-942) with redundant power, cooling & control system to keep the server environment in prime condition to ensure a combined uptime of 99.9995 %. The facility will also host the IT data for several commercial banks. This 13.7 million OMR contract was awarded in 2011 to M/s. Al Adrak Trading & Contracting Company and are commissioned in August 2013. This facility will control the transactions of the whole nation & will store them as per the international regulatory practices.

Job Responsibilities

Project Initiation - Identify IT projects, evaluate & orient projects in terms of business needs, initiate & obtain approvals for the project. Developing implementation strategy.
Project Planning - Time & Effort estimation _ Scope, HR, quality, risk, communication & resource planning for the project. Convening & conducting meetings to identify user requirements, Compiling user requirements, Preparation of SRS. Plan purchase, Plan contracting.

Worked as manager with direct responsibility of following Substation Enhancement projects. I was directly responsible for Engineering, Construction & Commissioning of substations & lines for power evacuation of 500 MW wind farm in very short span of time. During the short span of 10 months, the following works are executed in a time bound manner to avoid the evacuation bottle neck in the South Tamilnadu grid, which was overwhelmed with high wind generation.
