* provides resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems at the well site where analysis of data requires having a broad knowledge of the product line's tool(s) and/or service. .
* monitor drilling activity and sensor readings for a variety of measurements when drilling is commencing while completing a variety of logs and reports
* Acts as a project leader and mentors junior field engineers.
* Developing and demonstrating proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of assigned advanced Logging while Drilling services at the well site.
* maintaining frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism.
* Performing duties outside of the monitoring trailer in a variety of weather conditions for rig up and down processes
* Exercising judgment to determine the appropriate action at the well site by relying upon hands on experience and classroom based training of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques
* Communicating with Coordinators and Well Planners regarding the status of the well
* Responsiblity for knowing the operational status of field equipment at the well site and maintaining it when appropriate
* availablity for 24 hour on-call service and working 12+ hour day and night shifts as needed
* Driving extensively to wellsite in remote locations and work on location for 26 or more days per month
Building tools required to make drilling and formation evaluation measurements and for transmitting information to the surface while drilling the well
Assisting the directional driller in drilling the well horizontally or through multiple reservoirs to maximize the potential of the well
Reading and interpreting formation well logs, directional survey information and other wellsite data
Maintaining equipment inventory and supervising movement to and from the wellsite, as well as performing rig-up and rig-down duties
Checking equipment and advising on repair requirements
Maintaining a computer database for ongoing jobs, daily reporting and end-of-well reports
Promoting safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complying with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Worked for SABIC as a mechanical engineering student for 7 months. I spent 10 weeks in Projects Development department and was a team member in one project. I spent the next 18 weeks in Equipment Engineering & Inspection department dealing with rotating machines.
• I had three courses with SABIC during my coop program (Elliott Centrifugal Compressors, Root Causes Analysis Leaders and General Electric System1)
