• Looking after 3M USD Sales Account for Various Channel Partners/OEMs in the Enterprise Division which focuses on the Oil & Gas, Utilities and Petrochemical Sector(s). Major Customers include: Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, SADARA, Marafiq and various EPC Contractors in the region.
• Responsible for Project Management, System Engineering, Setting and Achieving Sales targets and profitability of the telecom division, marketing, customer support and liaising with the principal.
• The work primarily involves working with customer right from the specification stage, working on tender requirements up to project completion and support.
Position Summary:
• To manage and execute the projects to be cost effective, timely delivery, quality standards and meets client expectation.
• Coordinate with customers, end users, contractors, engineering consultants, certification bodies, suppliers, principles and etc. for engineering design, documents/drawings submission and approval, Installation, testing and commissioning tasks locally, overseas, on-shore and offshore.
• Involved in Pre/Post sales and Business Development activities.
• Provide technical support for Broadband Systems.
• Formulate strategies and plans to provide a total customer solution and to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Working experience over the following systems: WiMAX, Wi-Fi, FTTX, Microwave Radio, SCADA and Tetra.
• Major Customers include: Saudi Aramco, SAABIC, SCECO and Marafiq.
Major Projects Executed.
• Survey, Design and Implementation of Redline PTP WiMAX solution at Saudi Armco Hawtah Facility.
• Survey, Design and Implementation of Aruba Wireless LAN solution at Dhahran-Saudi Aramco
• Survey, Design and Implementation of GEMDS Telemetry Scada Radios for Tanajib (Off-Shore) and Gawar Field (Southern Water Well Injection Project) for Saudi Aramco.
Position Summary:
• To Manage Network Rollout for Implementation/Relocation of New Sites.
• To Liaise with Sub-contractor teams for the successful delivery of the newly on-Aired Sites.
• Installation, Commissioning, Testing and Acceptance Procedures.
• To carryout daily Network/RF-related audits, diagnose and present resolution.
• To interact with Core, Field Support and Sales Team for the escalation and rectification of RF/Declined Sales Issues on Various Clusters of the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Worked as regional coordinator for the relocation project.
• Carry out Field/RF related surveys for the installation of new sites.
• Generating/Reviewing LOS and TSS reports; analyzing reports for soft and hard parameter changes.
• Implementing Hard Changes (Azimuth, Tilt, and Height) for the rectification of Coverage related issues.
• Involved in Cluster Optimization for Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad Region.
• Carrying out Cluster Drive Test using XCAL for RF-Optimization.
• Generating/Analyzing and escalating Network/RF based KPI reports through Huawei NMS (M2000).
• Installation, Commissioning and Testing of Huawei WiMAX Equipment (DBS 3900).
• Microwave Installation/Testing and Troubleshooting on RTN620 hardware - EMS6 configuration, SSC Cards configurations, Hybrid and Analog Configuration, Cross Connects, SD1 Cards Configuration.
Position Summary:
To Manage Routine Operation & Maintenance tasks in WIMAX RAN which involves maintenance of Motorola Dap and MW backhaul.
To Investigate/troubleshoot the alarms, diagnose and resolve fault.
To interact with Customer and Sub-contractor for the escalation and rectification of Environmental/Power related issues on Sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following:
• Validate, resolve and follow up for RAN related issues in the network.
• Carry out RAN activities at regional level and provide support to subcontractors to ensure network stab
• Analyze issue based KPIs through statistical reports: Outage and Trend Analysis using Motorola tools.
• Provide on site support to NOC for Lev-2 issues.
• Ensure that committed Grade of Service (GoS) is met as per Motorola Standards and committed SLAs.
• Take innovative measures to diagnose and highlight quality issues in the network.
• Maintain/Monitor the WiMAX Ran (Motorola Dap) through Motorola CGEMS: Configuration and testing on Access points.
Carry out Drive Tests for CPE issues using Wireshark, Ethereal and Wifta.
• Manage Aggregation Sites/MW Traffic using Cisco ME3400 switches.
• Manage/Monitor IP traffic through CACTI; RF stats through MAXZILLA.
• Maintain the WiMAX Microwave Backhaul through HighCap NMS (Sagem) and Pnmt (NEC). Troubleshooting Alarms: Carry out Preventive and Corrective Maintenances for rectification of alarms.
• Work in conjunction with Core, Technical support and CNRC (Development) teams for Investigation and
Rectification of Motorola WIMAX related Issues.
• Responsible for HW/SW upgrades in the Network.
• Handle faults in order to ensure a continuous operation of the network.
• DAP/MW Installation, Commissioning, Integration, Maintenance and Site Acceptance Tests.
• Alarms handling/Rectification in time allowed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Major Responsibilities include Configuration, monitoring and management of:
• Multi-Service Access Network (MSAN) comprising of HONET MD5500 Huawei brand through Huawei
• Based iManager N2000.
• Fixed Network Integrated Management System. The MSAN traffic includes POTS and ADSL services in the City
• SDH Transmission Equipment used for MSAN i.e. OptiX 155/622H (Metro 1000) through Optix iManager NES.
• Installation of sites for E1 connectivity fiber through optical SDH transmission equipment including Metro-100
& Metro-1000.
