Handling the Customer Service role for African trade the job revolves around
• Trade Management
• Preparing accurate Booking / Sales Report from CMA system (INTTRA & CMA web) and updating the status to H.O/R.O, Commercial team on a daily basis.
• Maintaining Booking Forecast for SWAX/NOURA Services (African trade vessel services) on daily basis to maintain allocation.
• Liaising with customers in ensuring container releases, rollovers and cancellations are done as per their requirements.
Coordination with destination offices and providing the Container Releases for FOB customers.
• Coordinating with Logistics team to make necessary arrangements for Ex works/FOB shipments as request placed by oversea vendors/ agents.
• Ensuring key clients are provided service in timely manner as per the agreed KPI.
• Following up with customers to ensure container pickups for stuffing, and taking down feedback if any cancellations and escalating the same to concerned sales/ logistics team.
• Obtaining Hazardous/OOG Approval from HO and vessel planner for the IMCO shipments placed by the customer.
• Updating Operations team with all relevant documents (DGPC / Container Packing Certificate / etc.) for IMCO shipments in order to update the same with Vessel’s Master to obtain final approval for loading IMCO/OOG.
• Effective handling of COD / return shipments as per customer requests and instruction from Head Office.
• In case of Reefer shipments following up with the logistics and terminal operations team to ensure the Reefer settings are as per the customer requirements and the same is maintained.
• Follow up with Transshipment terminals and Intermodal transport team to ensure the priority connections are maintained.
• Preparing load list for weekly vessels based on the load list provided by the customers for the respective vessel and updating the same to operations team to plan and prepare the vessel final load plan.
• Reconciliation of all Bookings with Actual Load Lists provided by Customers prior finalizing the
• Final Load Lists to ascertain correct Final Port of Discharge so as to avoid COD charges.
• Preparing Freight summary for each vessel and reconfirm the same with the sales team prior advising invoicing team to proceed with Invoicing…
• Preparing Confirmed On Board list / Sailed list and updating the same to HO and RO commercial team on weekly basis as per the sailing of vessels in the African trade.
• Reconciliation of Storage Charges for DP World Invoices.
• Monitor rate filings, daily reconciliation with the Sales Team.
• Checking for Detention & Demurrage /Storage invoices and informing invoicing team to invoice the same to customers.
• Coordinate with destination office for transfer of detention / demurrage / monitoring and storage on confirmation from agent.
• Resolving invoice Dispute with customers after internal coordination with Sales.
• Follow up with the customers for payments on outstanding bill of ladings

As an air freight customer service coordinator with ANCC the main scope of work is as follow:
• Look into cargo sales from walk in clients to agencies (OHL, MIQ etc.) and various networks
• Coordinating with Al Naboodah group companies and ensure smooth process of each of their shipments.
• Provide customer services from shipment tracking & inquiry, sorting out issues related to shipments, ensuring customer/client satisfaction...
• Coordination and developing business relations with the customers
• Negotiating spot rates with airlines and offering the best quotes to customers for their queries.
Coordinating with airlines for space and flight availability
• Prepare packing lists, invoice, and other certificates when required.Day to day coordination with the Export and Import operations team to enable and ensure the smooth handling of shipment, and to prioritize the shipment based on customer requirement...
• Following up with the agents for pre- alerts for import shipments and updating the operations team with the pre- alerts received.
• Checking documents received from the clients/ agencies are as required by the concerned authorities for the Export/ Import of shipments.
• Ensuring the jobs are updated with the cost and selling for the accounts team to process the issue invoices to the clients on time.
• To follow up with Al Naboodah Group companies for LPO’s for the Per Forma Invoices issued against group company jobs.
• Coordinating with In- House Exhibitions team for their requirements to export and import exhibition related equipment’s and commodities, by getting special rates from airlines...
• Follow up with Exhibitors/ service providers regarding the inbound and outbound Exhibition goods.
• Coordinating with own operations team for the timely delivery of shipment to the respective
