Responsible for the development of the Award winning hospitality brand - Rove Hotels (A JV between Emaar Properties & Meraas Holdings). Six Rove hotels opened in Dubai within a span of 4 years with two more under execution on site and one in schematic design stage. Also worked on an Address hotel in RAK, with piling started on site.
Setting up and maintaining brand design guidelines and physical criteria for the Development of New Build Rove Hospitality Projects and ensuring standards are executed by Consultants and contractors - delivering a product that is sustainable and on-brand.
Assuming the turnkey hotel development responsibility within approved budget and on schedule, after land has been sourced, through to handover to Asset Management/Operator, in line with the commercial and operational requirements of the Hotel Business Unit, which include but not limited to:
a. Conceiving financially viable hotel developments delivered in a timely and qualitative manner through all the necessary internal and external approvals;
b. Ensuring the Hotel Development progresses by providing support to departmental teams in receiving internal approvals and coordinating external agents.
c. Developing inter-departmental relationships as required in support of strategic goals and objectives
1. Consultant with Archetype for carrying out fast track Design management services on 30, 000m2 of retail fit out plus 10, 000m2 of airline offices consisting of over 110 different concessionaires at the New Mumbai International Airport Terminal.
2. Providing Hospitality Technical Services consultancy to Al Badiyah - T.R.Engel Group Middle East LLC for their hotel projects in Qatar.
Responsible for advising and reporting on hotel properties and projects to ensure any hotels entering our hotel system conform to brand standards. Ensure that hotel projects are designed to support brand values and respect current design and layout conventions and, furthermore, provide a service to existing hotels to improve, develop and enhance design and layout as requested. Responsible for individual hotel projects (renovations, re-launches and new builds) across all brands within our hotel portfolio, liaising with internal and external customers and reporting project process on a timely basis.
Responsible for the timely and within budget completion of all projects under my umbrella. Ensuring the required team of professionals, contractors and site workers were on board for the respective projects and recruit as and when required. Negotiation of contracts and purchases of speciality items with due research. Resolving design related issues. Day to day management of the office, teams and projects.
Designing, Coordinating a team of designers, computer networking & maintainance, preparing sketches, sample boards, meeting clients, giving job orders to the joinery factory, checking BOQ's, site visits, quality control, purchase orders, day to day Design Dept administration, etc
Liasing with the clients, coordinating a team of Architectects and draughtsman. Computer networking and maintainance. Creating a materials database with addresses of eligible suppliers, Site visits, day to day office administration etc.
Liasing with Clients, Presentation drgs, site visits, coordinating designers & draughtsman, day to day office management.
Desining & Project Management. Coordinating all services like HVAC, MEP, IBMS, Fire fighting, Telecommunications, Structured cabling, Structural glazing, Lifts, Civil Works and Interior design works. Coordinating over 20 different agencies with over 350 people working on site.
Liasing with Client, Designing, Preparing tenders, Shop drawings, execution & Project Management.
Presentations, Designing & Preparing all working drgs, Day to day office administration.
Its a five year diploma course offered by the institute which is eqivalent to a degree.
Its a 2 years Higher scondary of Education course.
Its a 4 year course in Secondary Education
