My main role is to facilitate the implementation of companies abroad, to set-up their operations in the UAE by offering them a turnkey solutions based on their organization's activities and requirements.
UAE Compare - The Business Comparison Company - was the first and only company in the UAE to offer business owners a wide range of IT, Interior Design, Web Design, Printing & Office services suppliers that have been checked, tested & compared to ensure quality & cost.
The company service providers could have guaranteed EXCLUSIVE deals to our clients. UAE Compare targeted minimum client savings of AED100, 000 for new office projects and a 10% on all other services.
My main role was to identify, develop and direct the implementation of business strategy for this new start-up.
A large part of my time was dedicated in educating and promoting our activities through networking events and workshops.
Acting as an Account Manager, overseeing, controlling and managing all aspects of the Sales Operations;
Promoting the company brand in the UAE with the support of various marketing tools;
Developing the company financial growth of accounts by monitoring the ratio Queries versus Bookings for all sales people;
Evaluating operational efficiency and recommending process improvements as required.
Monitoring staff competency level whilst offering guidance, support and training;
Reviewing and developing personnel based on performance factor and core standards;
Developing a sense of ethics within the company that set us apart from the competition;
Implementing and developing a Customer Service Method Plan that can be differentiate and set the company a class apart from competitors - Customer Testimonials available;
Implementing some work changes and re-allocating new responsibilities;
Creating templates as basic fundamental tools for staff support;
Actively participating to networking functions within the Industry.
Assisting and working closely with the Destination Relocations Manager;
Scheduling visits to customer at their homes from quotation requests received;
Providing advice in regards to: international relocation and expatriate compensation.
Responsible for the monitoring of the receivables related to 300 European accounts;
Proactively work to collect money owed to ABG;
Preparation of reports, acknowledging collections made on the weekly basis;
Providing estimate figures for future collections, to maximize the company cash flow;
Responsible for making recommendations of credit limits for new and existing accounts.
Provide Single Point Of Co-ordination for all phases of international relocation activities on behalf of client for their employees;
Research, compile, analyze and interpret foreign country specific information to assist clients in the development of new and existing international policies and compensation programs;
Maintain and enhance relationships with external suppliers and partners to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of client reporting.
Account management for in excess of 400 hundred clients in the Finance and IT industry in the UK, responding directly to client queries with respect to technical issues.
