Key responsibilities
Underwriting of various general insurance products like Fire insurance, Engineering insurance, Property & Casualty insurance and other miscellaneous insurance
Review risks by evaluating the survey reports and risk exposure calculations within treaty capacities and risk class category
Interact with the various types of clients, holding discussions with them, assessing their insurance requirements, review adequacy of scope coverage
Calculating possible risks, and deciding how much individuals or organizations, should pay for insurance, and ensuring that premiums are competitive
Negotiating, preparing and submitting indications, quotations and contracts with clients
Follow-up on indications/quotations/proposals status and perform any necessary revisions.
Taking ownership of client's account, resolving queries and problems in a timely and efficient manner
Handling multi-line commercial accounts over Dhs 500, 000, 000 values insured
Insurance and Reinsurance Facultative risk placement
Assessing and Evaluating inwards risks within treaty capacity and underwriting
guidelines / parameters
Serving as technical expert, assisting department members to resolve complex issues
Establishing and maintaining fruitful relationship with existing and potential clients

Policy issuance/Endorsement/Renewals of General Insurance with the help of Citrix Software and QMS Software (Quotation management System)
Taking care of all medical insurance enquiries and provide quotation to clients/broker as per their requirement
Handling group medical insurance and individual medical insurance
Providing competitive quotation to the clients (groups, SME and Individual)
Analyzing claims to determine extent of company’s liability, making approval or denial decisions, and negotiating settlements with claimants in accordance with policy provisions
Maintaining relationships with the existing & new clients by calls, visits and timely follow-ups
Assisting the existing clients at the time of renewals and selling additional lines of coverage where applicable
Securing new clients, generating new businesses, and maintaining the highest level of customer service
Maintaining technical knowledge and efficient customer servicing
Preparing weekly & monthly reports and submitting to the management
Promoting all kinds of general insurance products and ensure high level of customer service delivered in terms of business, claims handling, renewals and follow up.
