INORA is a manufacturing company located in Pune, India. It specializes in Biotechnology and Microbiology. In my capacity as a senior consultant I was responsible for maintaining a contamination free manufacturing area, research and development of new products, administration and client negotiations.
Before joining INORA I have finished working on 3 projects for 3 different clients. I lead a team for these projects which involved Projectlead, Business development, Training, Strategies and Technology transfer.
My company kick started in 1997 with an objective to provide services to a wide range of industries.
We started off with product development contracts for small scale to medium scale companies, in
HYGIENE segment.
● We got an opportunity to build a successful business model for a growing Herbal Products
and Lifestyle company based in Chicago, USA where we gave them a full report on
trends and market pulse of Herbal products in India.
● By the turn of the new millennium, we were approached by a Cyprus based company to
provide a supply chain and advice on ORGANIC MANURE made from farm trash. The
finished manure conferred to international standards and the entire project concluded
satisfactorily.
Microrite Inc. is a consulting company and works in the area of Microbial Contamination Control,
Microbiology, Aseptic Techniques, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Process Development,
Process Validation, Facilities, Utilities and Equipment Validation services to a broad range of clients
including Pharmaceuticals manufacturing companies, Biotechnology Industry and Medical Devices
manufacturing companies.
Responsibilities
➢ Building client base for the company, market research and negotiating contracts, in India.
➢ Accountable for completing objectives and general quality of service.
➢ Development of new strategies to improve market presence.
➢ Sent follow-up marketing materials and build follow-up calls until relationship is recognized.
➢ Call and personal visits to new and potential clients.
➢ Arranging negotiation meetings and seminars as a part of business development strategy.
➢We successfully concluded a workshop on Microbial Contamination Control which had a special focus on Biofilms, in Mumbai, India. The workshop was held on November 21st and 22nd 2011.
➢ Conducted 5 Webinar based training program series for Praj-Matrix Biotechnology in March
2012.
➢ ON-SITE training programs for companies.
● Conducted market survey and determined milestones for boosting sales.
● Headed a team to undertake trials of their product SANSOIL which is an eco-friendly,
organic and non-toxic biocide useful as a water purifying agent and general purpose
disinfectant. The trials were taken in domestic market and targeted towards corporate
groups and hospitals. I later proposed it as a safer alternative to synthetic biocides, for use
in agriculture. The results were very encouraging.
● Promoted SANOSIL and FOGGING SYSTEM extensively in major hospitals of Pune city for
disinfection of Operation Theatres and Sterile rooms.
