I worked as a logistics coordinator in a transport company located in the Algerian desert. My company deals with big multinational petroleum companies.
Main responsibilities:
- Contact, negotiate, attend meetings with customers and friendly solving problems (different departments’ companies)
- Providing the logistic department with updated information and customers’ needs,
coordinate with the commercial department inside the company and in other towns, coordinate with the HSE, HR and Finance departments.
- Helping and giving technical support, in computer, English, strategy of the company to new workers and classic workers (voluntarily)
- Supporting the logistics and other departments with weekly and monthly statistics
- My suggestion to run a daily short work meeting before starting work (15 minutes) between the main departments each morning has created friendly relationship between the staff and line, reduced the daily pressure and increased the individual performance, my suggestion also to run free and obliged formation in the meeting room got the accordance of the general manager.
