• Regularly update and reviews document of local market conditions to feed into effective and adaptive procurement planning according with ACF regulations.
• Setup and maintain a database of local suppliers, detailing quality, price, service, and conformity with ACF accountability and professional ethics guidelines.
• Provide technical support in preparation of supply documentation, such as input on specifications, transport, market conditions and availabilities, and other supply and logistics arrangements.
• Facilitate cost-effective efficient procurement, clearance, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment to project sites, in support of the country program implementation.
• Establish and maintain contacts with local authorities and partners on the clearance of ACF supplies.
• Develop and maintain accurate inventory tracking and warehousing information.
• Participate in the preparation/compilation of supply status reports required for donor reports (such as inventories), audits, and internal reports.
• Providing expertise in Supply Chain Management Systems and tools;
• Professionalizing and streamlining the Supply Chain after the initial startup of the operation.
• Ensuring that all ACF Standards with regards to purchasing, warehousing and transport are implemented including the preparation of the necessary documents;
• Working closely with finance on donor compliance (UNICEF, ECHO, and DFID).
