To check the contractual feasibility of a new tender enquiry
* To work closely with Reliability Dept. upon receiving the tender enquiry, prepare qualification to the contract
and bidding the work. Review the prime contract to understand and ensure that the key issues are addressed.
To visit the site prior to finalising the bid, and provide input to estimating team during negotiation and finalising
the contract award.
* Ensure contracts are correctly framed within corporate guidelines, gives appropriate commercial advice,
support and recommendation.
* Preparation of contract documents, study of contract and highlight all the important clauses, which are
favourable and unfavourable. To interpret the contract and identify responsibilities, obligations ambiguities etc.
* Prepare the contract summary and a check list. Ensure that the execution team fully understands the
contractual and commercial aspects of the projects.
* Manage and monitor the execution of contracts that have been successfully awarded and ensure that the
project is progressing satisfactorily. Guide Project Manager/Project Engineer by giving required inputs, in the
successful execution of Project. Attend site progress meetings.
* Liaise with Consultants/Subcontractors about the execution of work.
* Develop the claim strategies. Identify the variations in each project and raise claims accordingly. Review and
reply to claim letters from/to consultants and subcontractors. Prepare reports for contractual and project
management issues etc as and when required.
* Monitors contract progress to ensure revenue is recognised at the appropriate and planned time and that any
delivery or penalty clauses are not triggered.
* To forward weekly status reports on all on-going projects as per the contractual agreement
