The scope of work includes MEP Services, Minor Civil, Energy Monitoring and Subcontractors Management i.e total facilities management:
o Managing hard and soft service in the compound
o Carry out maintenance, repair and emergency response for Critical and balance of plant mechanical and electrical systems and equipment in addition of minor civil works.
o Provides technical direction and on-the-job training to supervisor and technicians.
o Prepare and review contracts and budgets of subcontractor
o Assigns and coordinates work to supervisor and technicians Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate program of assigned engineering
o work and projects.
o Running quality checks to make sure systems are working properly and safely
o Diagnosing and fixing faults
o Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Direct and coordinate small
o installations, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and
o customer requirements.
o Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
o Respond and provide technical assistance to electrical equipment problems within the clients’ facilities
o Issue repair reports at the conclusion of critical jobs for proper historical documentation
o Improve plant/equipment reliability through historical trending and improved maintenance procedures.
o Follow the daily work of maintenance team and make sure the jobs are completed on time and as per client requirements
o Assigns and coordinates work to team leaders, supervisors and technicians Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate program of assigned engineering work and projects
o Carry out a service request, ensuring that work performed in
these areas is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of Disruption and inconvenience.
o Ensuring the proper use and care of tools and instruments ensuring compliance with safety, and troubleshooting procedures.
o Carry out works in accordance with the preventative maintenance program’s assigned tasks.
o Carry out preventative maintenance with a minimum disruption of building services.
o Advice supervisors regarding the requirement of parts and equipment required for repair and maintenance.
o Consult with supervisors as appropriate regarding stock levels and materials required to complete all maintenance and perform necessary work.
o Performs additional job duties as requested.
o Preparing the monthly reports, technical report, incidents report, accident report, daily activity reports for the client
o Good knowledge of CMMS and CAFM system-Enova is using Concept 500 as the CAFM system to meet the client’s requirements. (Over 150, 000 Assets Registered in CAFM System).
o Implementing the HSEEQ crises management tools, SOP, PPE, toolbox talk, safety and environment risk assessment, waste management and chemical management per company policy
Progress update and preparation of weekly progress reports.
Submitting daily reports to higher authorities
Termination of LV and control panels etc.as per the design criteria.
Supervise Installation of Fire Alarm, Public Address, IP Multiply Converge system, Lighting, and Lighting Control, BMS.
Supervise Installation of small power, containment power
Gentle Coordination with team workers and other construction departments like civil, mechanical etc.
Attending daily progress and look a-head meetings regarding daily progress.
Responsible for the Electrical execution installation in the building.
Review of shop drawings; quantify surveying material quantity take off, dissemination to concerned workers the methods of implementation and execution of specific works based from reference drawings’ site supervision and coordination with other discipline.
Installation of conduit, boxes, cable ladder, tray, trunk, underground conducting, for duct bank, grounding system and cable pulling for correct pulling tension is being applied to the cable.
Ensuring correct and approved material is being used on site.
Responsible for inspection, quality assurance and quality control of electrical works, material received and to be delivered on site.
Coordinate with the electrical supervisor ⁄ superior to maintain high quality workmanship & minimize reworks and reject.
Responsible of upgrading of as-build drawings as per site condition.
Handing over the project to the satisfaction of Client and end user.
Project: Information Technology and Communication Complex (USD 145)
Duties and Responsibilities Project #1:
Preparing Engineers Estimates &BOQ of Electrical Work.
Developed, manage and up-date project Schedule for electrical work.
Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
Supervise and train project team members as necessary.
Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.
Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs.
Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects.
Supervise the work of field engineers providing appropriate guidance and training to maintain efficiency and standards.
Provide regular oral and written reports regarding the status of engineering-related BOQ.
Preparing of monthly progress report.
Inspection and supervision of complete electrical activities on site
Shop drawing review and comments.
Reviewing the BOQ for the electrical works done on site.
