▪ Understanding the complete scope of work as per the contract documents
▪ Identifying, reviews and monitors priority, long lead and other required materials, and ensures the procurement milestone dates are being meet the baseline dates
▪ Preparation of material logs and follow-ups for structural & architectural and materials specified in BOQ & IFC Drawings
▪ Raising queries regarding variations in specification and quantities. Raising RFI’s for missing technical information’s, contradictions and queries
▪ Responsible for technical submittal for all materials with accessories for consultant and client approvals. Responsible for issuance of Material Request and Purchase orders in coordination with QS Engineer
▪ Preparation of cost comparisons and technical specification between various materials from different suppliers and manufacturers and advising to management the pros and cons
▪ Coordinating with project Civil Defense Consultant for latest criteria for life safety requirements for Fire Rated Doors, façade materials, Escape route requirements, Door locations, orientations & Finish.
▪ Coordinating with MEP personnel’s for ID Lightings, ID Sanitary Items and other materials during submittals for compatibility. Also Reviewing Specialist shop drawings & Details prior to official submittal
▪ Advising Planning Engineer regarding material submittal and delivery progress in update approved project baseline. Monitoring material delivery and arranging for material inspection by consultant. Advising proper storage methods to Storekeeper as per MSDS
▪ Advising project technical office team for incorporating technical details of materials such as item codes, color, size, fixation details & installation instructions into shop drawings & advising the site team for area of application of materials. Preparing schedules of materials as per categories, areas, quantities for easy site execution
▪ Preparing shortage report, check alternative sources for critical items, assist supervisors in the allocation of materials to work for crews, and identifies all common consumable materials
▪ Arranging meetings between consultant and manufacturer representatives/ specialists
▪ Maintain appropriate construction documentation in digitalized and secured way and Updating technical specification and data for material in BIM Model LOD500 for end user (Accor)
▪ Attending weekly progress meetings and Coordination meetings.

Project : SEC-Multistorey Car Parking Building-Jeddah

Scope of work : Construction of 5 storey Car parking Building (Built-up area=35000 Sq. Mt) linking to existing SEC-WOA Headquarter. Bored pile foundation, precast Hollow Core Slab, external periphery and roof parking, hard scraping, landscaping above ground utilities, Traffic islands, signboard installation, underground utilities, asphalt pavement, security Guard houses, underground fire water tank with pump room and all Electro-mechanical works.

Responsibilities:-

 Monitor the construction of all elements of the project to ensure that the works are fully in accordance with the approved shop drawings and project specifications. Coordination with other Consultants regarding conflicts in drawings, Schedules and Actual Site Conditions
 Comprehensive knowledge of how to organize and carry out handover inspections in conjunction with the site supervision professionals and compile check lists identifying all items requiring corrective action
 Rebar, shuttering and concrete inspection for structural works (Bore piles, Pile caps, grade beams, SOG, Columns, shear walls, stairs, ramps, beams, suspended slabs and structural screed activities etc.)
 Monitor and inspection of Precast Hollow core slabs delivery and installation
 Carryout inspections for Block Masonry, Plastering, Painting, Tile works, Granite Flooring, Gypsum Board Ceiling, Fiber Glass Insulation, Aluminum works, Epoxy Flooring, water proofing (Foundation, Roof & Toilets), SS Hand Rails, Doors, windows, Cladding, Expansion joint, walkways etc.
 Carryout inspection for installation of Traffic sign Boards, Rubber Humps, steel Pipe Bollard, Corner guard, Precast wheel stopper, Curb stones etc.
 Preparation of shop drawings as per construction stages showing elevation, construction joints, cold joints, required dowel bars etc.,
 Preparation of Work Requests, Inspection Requests, Concrete Placement Request for every activity and submitting it to consultants. Reviewing of Method statement prepared by site professionals for each and every activity
 Supervise the sampling and testing of concrete constituents, test cubes and monitors concrete slump and temperature during concreting activities. Also Coordinating with third party independent laboratories for testing of Piles, Concrete Cube sample, Sub base aggregate, rebar test etc. Monitoring the concrete pouring and update of casting table for each and every pouring.
 Inspection for material delivered at site to check whether it’s acceptable or not as per project technical specifications. Preparation of Material Receiving Inspection and the same submitting to consultant for acceptance
 Comprehensive knowledge of how to appropriately advise the Construction manager and all the site team with regard to good building practice, construction methods, care of materials and workmanship, and with the proper co-ordination and work sequencing in relation to the installation of all finishes elements.
 Having Knowledge of materials for Building Repair Works (Like FOSRAC, BASF, SIKA, SODAMCO-WEBER, CONMIX)
 Assisting Project Manager for preparation of various types of reports for client and higher management (technical information, work progress photos, sub-contractors performance etc.)
 Assisting Planning Engineer in preparation of Weekly & Monthly look ahead plans, accomplishment reports, start and finish of activities for updating Primavera P6 Schedule,
 Assisting Construction Manager for estimation of concrete quantity for each pour and also coordinating with Concrete supplier for uninterrupted delivery of concrete

Responsibilities:-

 Understanding the complete scope of work as per the contract documents.
 Making job plans to evaluate Man-power, Man-hours and equipment required for execution.
 Supervise the performance of Sub-Contractors to ensure respect of works standard, specification, Schedule and Budget.
 Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report.
 Identifying and updating requirement of direct material, direct consumable and equipment based on look‐ahead plans.
 Preparation of shop drawings as per as built and site needs
 Coordination with other Consultants regarding conflicts in drawings, Schedules and Actual Site Conditions
 Demarcation of Buildings and Infrastructure by Using Total Station.
 Monitoring of project activities and generating comparisons between planned and actual values.
 Advice the senior Engineer-In-Charge of the discipline concerned on the issue of site instructions calling for remedial measures.
