according to American code, Second order effects has been considered to qualify the structures /

* Checking and submitting the Structural Steel drawings at various stages such as IDC and IFR after
incorporating quality standards.
* Worked out comprehensive solutions on interferences of other services (piping, electrical) with civil
members.
* Isolated and combined foundation design has been performed in MAT 3d as per ACI 318-10.Wind
and seismic combination considered separately and qualified.

Basic Study: Understand the process and purpose of various buildings proposed on the plant, observe
the client’s requirement
Geotechnical study: Study detailed geo technical report to understand nature of the soil and extract the
information such as SBC, water table, etc. for Foundation Design
Load Calculation: Calculate the various loadings expected on the structure such as Live Load, Dead
load, Wind load (IS 875), Seismic loads, Equipment and pipe loading from interdepartmental inputs.
Analysis and Design: Develop mathematical modeling of the structures using STAAD pro software,
Perform analysis of the concrete and steel structure with relevant loads and load combination as
mentioned in the standards. With analysis results understand the behavior and response of the structure
and design for strength and serviceability using codes and design aids
(IS456, IS1893, IS13920 and SP34). Foundation, pedestal designed separately by extracting forces from
main model. (Structures Designed: Utility Building (Concrete), Truck unloading facility (Steel), Pipe
rack (Concrete), Pipe Bridge (Steel).
Drawing Checking: Checking Detailed concrete and reinforced drawings according to detailing
procedure given IS 13920 and SP34.
Coordination with client and other departments: Attending model review, discussing different option
in planning of the structure and discussing key issues like interferences and clearances etc., if any

Analysis and Design of cellar, G+12 residential building located in seismic zone-III and for a design
wing speed of 47 m/s using ETABS.
* This project has been designed for columns from foundation level to ground floor, and for shear walls
from foundation level to terrace.
