As a Business Development Director, I am responsible for providing and acting on business insights, identifying future opportunities, risks and business impacts to support our organisational strategic goal. My role works across the business to support new business acquisition and management of Key Projects. It is a position that is active in developing our internal commercial acumen and drives commercial governance and excellence within the Minerals commercial teams in the organisation.
AMTC is a leading Export Management firm, managing export and international marketing functions for many Egyptian manufacturers and Brand owners.
Reporting to the GM, I am the supervisor of a 6 members team which:
. Acts as the Brand owner and develop, recommend and implement brand strategy and plans on an ongoing basis to ensure sustainable and profitable growth in the international markets
• Conducts international market research and analyzes results.
• Ensure the delivery of the target markets entry strategy and yearly activity plan on time within budget.
• Prepares and implements market entry plans and communication programs.
. Conducts required customization in product features, package design, or labels
• Participation in abroad events and exhibitions.
. Conducting regular brand audit meetings with other different functions.
. Handling export procedures, payment terms, shipping and documentations.
Global City is an Egyptian Stock corporate representing leader metal working machinery & tools brands from Germany, Switzerland, UK, USA, Taiwan, and China
Reporting to the MD, I was supervising 3 members marketing team responsible for the following tasks:
• Preparing and implementing the marketing plan.
• Manage brand performance against pre-set objectives and initiate plans to ensure that these objectives are fully met.
. Monitor and track brands share & performance and to implement action plans to address risk or opportunities.
• Planning and Implementing E-Marketing campaigns and SEO activities.
• Frequent traveling to international trade shows and events.
• Handling communications with foreign suppliers, and searching for new business opportunities.
• Handling third party relations e.g. Advertising agencies, market researchers.
• Opening new export markets
• Participation in abroad exhibitions.
• Preparing shipping documents.
• After sales service and customer care.
