Responsible for the smooth operations of procurement department.
Leading a team towards effective procurement practices and efficient supply chain operations.
Supervising the International Shipping & Logistics of all Import shipments to KSA sea ports and border entry ports.
SAP-ERP-MM, PO Management, liaising with Banks and vendors.
Managing the logistics flow of local purchases, demand and supply, to various warehouses.
-Working in a centralized imports department for the entire kingdom of KSA
-Involved in the entire process of procurement of material, based on the requirements of internal sales
-Liaising with suppliers/vendors for sourcing material of specified grades
-Initiation of confirmations and logistics for the order, liaising with Banks, Suppliers, Clients, Internal Sales & Accounts, for necessary import procedures & Arranging for Insurance of goods
-Following up with suppliers for timely shipments, shipping agents for vessel status
-Co-ordinating with clearance agent for prompt clearance at different ports
-Specifying delivery instructions to transport agent for delivery at different warehouses
-Providing feedback & necessary documents to warehouses for proper inventory of goods.
-Ensure the proper flow of cargo untill goods received at warehouse are as per import order and good condition.
-Liaising with all parties involved Suppliers, Banks, Clients, Agents, In-house Sales & Accounts, to ensure smooth transition of import order.
-Involved as an SME MM in SAP Project Implementation. Managing MM Purchase Orders, conditions, rebates, and flow of data between MM to Inventory & Finance.
-Company engaged in providing Finance on consumables and automobiles, enabling the consumer to pay the loan amount in Easy Monthly Installments, over a period of time, vide PDC’s (Post Dated Cheques).
-Supervising Customer accounts and Storage of the Customer’s Pdc’s
-Ensuring control over voluminous Pdc’s for deposits, at timely banking cycles.
-Customer Services and its related procedures, for proper handling of the customer account, acceptance of Pdc’s
-Sorting queries and resolving customer problems/issues.
-Reconciling with Bank and ensuring proper & correct management of data at all levels from entries to updates to reports, on every aspect involved, from customer accounts, EMI’s and relevant reports.
-Was significantly involved in project to transfer and centralize the Pdc Department from Bombay to Madras.
