Currently responsible for Managing the Development of a newly established Capacity Building Department. The Department will have a main mandate of up-lifting the awareness, capacity and capability of eServices users.
Also managing a number of initiatives for Bahrain eGA including feasibility planning and execution, Business Operating Modelling, and process engineering and reengineering, and assessing the current maturity levels of eGA's various directorates.
A spearhead of a BHD 2 million project with a semi-autonomous authority aiming to promote and implement the 2nd phase of an Enterprise Growth Management Program (Private Sector Support Program). Key responsibility include, authority, PR and Design representatives) to come up with a Marketing Strategy for the (4-years) project, lead consultant of 2 of the 5 main schemes; these are the Growth Assistance scheme and Marketing Assistance Scheme.
• Involved in a BPR project aiming to restructure the firm’s policies and procedures and build up an organizational structure that meets the board vision, mission and corporate strategy.
• Prepared job descriptions and grading system for the centre. This involved conducting an As-Is Assessment, gap Analysis, Situation Analysis, development of new grading system.
• Involved in setting the firm’s internal marketing strategy and advertising activities. This involved preparing market study and analysis, customer and market trends, core and emerging products, current market challenges and possible solutions.
• Involved in selecting a State-of-the-Art Asset Management System (AMS) solution for a reputed oil and Gas organization in Qatar. Responsibilities included Business Process Reengineering for Supply Chain and Maintenance and Operations Departments, System Selection and Project Planning.
• Involved in the preparation of a Quality Assurance (QA) manual to be implemented upon Oracle e-BS modules.
• Assisted in the preparation of bank’s policies and procedures and then developed a web-based catalogue to consolidate all necessary set of business related, financial and legal manuals.
• Involved in Business Process conception (PBR), procedures’ and requirements’ definition, development of Statement of Need (SON), and RFI Analysis and recommendation for a prominent Health Authority in Abu Dhabi.
• Involved in submitting a catering and financial system recommendation report for a Catering Services Company.
• Involved in ERP System and Implementer selection for big conglomerate in the region.
• Assisted in the development of RFP / RFI analysis reports covering various topics including system selection, development of an IT strategy, IT policies and procedures projects in the public/private sectors in the M.E Region.
• Tutored a second year Information Science paper/subject titled computing for end-users.
• The paper examined information technology, its capabilities and limitations, along with providing hands-on experience as well as covering the theoretical foundations of effective presentation of information.
