Managing and Coordinating the Projects related to Banking Operations and IT :

1. Prepare detailed plans for specifically allocated projects, and directly manage them to completion.
2. Oversee project resources to ensure that all initiatives/projects are accomplished within the agreed target dates and budgeted costs.
3. Provide input to the preparation of the department workbook and budget.
4. Ensure the effective achievement of project objectives through appropriate assignment of tasks and responsibilities to project members, and by acting as a role model for more junior team members.
5. Chair and / or participate in project and department-related committees or subcommittees, in an effort to ensure desired outcomes are being achieved.
6. Liaise with management and business unit management and department heads as required for planning and execution of projects.
7. Monitor the project end to end and ensure delivery on time and within budget
8. Prepare monthly department KRI and work with Operational risk dept to report any risk item and close them as per the policy and procedure
9. Work closely with compliance to ensure bank operates within SAMA rules and close resolve any non compliance item

Part of the team that is in charge of Managing the Operational Projects related to Wholesale Banking and improving the operating behavior and the processing efficiency.

Projects side include:

• Creating project charter, project plan, and project budget.
• Communicate the Project charter and the Project plan to the EPMO and update them with project progress monthly
• Guide and work with the project team (internal/external) to support them to implement the project propperly
• Solving issues/ conflicts and ensure delivery of required outcomes on time & within budget.
• Follow up on the project progress and provide progress updates reports to the management
• Prepare training sessions as needed
• Follow up on the different raised issues and incidents and ensure the solutions are implemented properly

Operations Improvement Part Include:

• Evaluate the current as is processes and practices of the different operations departments ( Trade Finance, Loans, Payment, Treasury, Account Admin, Archiving, and Communication)
• Draw the current As is process using the MS Visio
• Purposed new to be process and set up all the needed controls with more efficient way of processing
• Work closely with the IT to implement the new changes and ensure the delivery of the changes get deployed properly
• Create the new Policy and Procedure pertaining to the new enhanced method of processing or operating and communicate it to the related department
• Also works closely with the reporting team in order to create daily reports which will facilitate the daily operations in a more controlled manner.

-Processes all types of Letters of Guarantee according to policies, procedures and adhere to the relevant regulatory instructions and requirements
-Routes LGs beyond limits to the relevant parties as per authority matrix in order to obtain/or not authorization and proceed with the transaction accordingly
-Processes LCs for corporate customers ensuring quality, speedy driven and efficient operations
-Receives and processes export LCs from corresponding banks and liaise with front-line staff (e.g., Relationship Manager) to advice customer
-Highlights discrepancies in the documents (if any) and secure the approval from the relevant body/ issuing bank to proceed with the transaction and transfer the funds.
-Processes the documents in order and enter into the system and maintain accessibility.
-Debits customer accounts, following directions, and pass entries to the correspondent bank and release the documents.
-Identifies and reports potential breaches in the operation, in order to contribute to their solution and avoidance
-Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Riyad Bank to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
-Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
-Performs other related duties or assignments as directed

Information Technology - Core Banking system configuration February 2014 to Current
Riyad Bank Head Office

Have been positioned to work with the core banking system which runs on mainframe platform, and that include the following:
•The setting up and updating business parameters to the Riyad Bank core systems and Branch front end systems and maintaining the parameters according to the change implementation procedures
•Accepts approved Change Requests for solution development after meeting the corporate banking group.
• Ensures that business requirements and/or design documents satisfy user needs and provides our inputs when applicable.
•Apply the changes to the development region and unit test the changes
• Develop the necessary MRF for the changes
•Applies the changes in SIT then in UAT when migration requests are approved by test regions owners and support the SIT and UAT testers.
• Deploys the change to production upon the release Manager’s approval at the particular time stated on the release approval.
•Support corporate banking with their RMs to set up the required new products to the RB system.
•Receive daily requests from the corporate department to set up parameters and create suspense account for the bank internal use.

Riyad Bank Head Office
•Worked in the IT division of Riyad Bank.
•Do monitoring of the IT infrastructure for the bank " Servers, applications, databases, Network...etc" Using BMC patrol Agent
•In addition, utilize technology to detect the problems before they occur and escalate to the concerned party.
•Interact business with technology in order to develop ensure smooth operation to the bank.
•Handle the remedy tickets and follow up with the other teams to make sure the incident has been properly resolved.
•Managing the Project of the other IT department.
