Part of the Cathodic Protection and Corrosion Management Department. My responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Conducting site surveys to various structures. (Pipelines, Tanks, & Well casings.)
• Designing CP systems for various structures. (Pipelines, Tanks, & Well Casings.)
• Preparing project documents; Scope of work, Design Calculations, Material Take-off and drawings.
• Attending technical meetings with clients.
• Troubleshoot and analyze the station technical problems.
• Ensure the station is broadcasting under FCC regulations.
• Responsible for all technical duties the station requires during events on and off campus.
• Review and approve commissioning packages.
• Perform commissioning and testing activities.
• Troubleshoot and analyze electrical systems in case of failure.
• Perform a regular preventive maintenance.
• Review and update electrical system drawings.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls from plant operations.
• Witness energizing and switching activities performed by the electrical system operators.
• Perform energizing switching for 115Kv, 13.8Kv, 4.16Kv, and 480V electrical systems.
• Check and maintain log of all operations.
• Issue work permit for electrical technicians.
• Review and edit switching procedures.
• Inspect and maintain log of all substation inspection activities.
