While working with Patson Agency as a Business Development Manager, the natures of duties were:
Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets and to follow the set strategy punctually.
Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teams
Coordinate with sponsors concerning size, standards, conditions and timing of research
Develop draft proposals based on team meetings and discussions
Maintain the Business Development databases
Support marketing activities, including trade/ scientific shows, mailings, etc.
Establishing quality standards, including checking and inspection of completed work before dispatch.
To have direct liaison with customers arriving within the unit and to deal with their inquiries through the necessary unit channels, assisting them as appropriately throughout, providing detailed project management services for all aspects of the Design & Print unit work flow.
Giving technical advice to all operators in the use of equipment and materials within the Unit and carrying out certain operations as required.
Providing a technical advice service to all current and potential users of the Unit and assisting with the preparation of quotations and estimates as required.
Supervision and safe custody of customers copy including documents, plates, Films and related items whilst in the care of the Design & Print unit.
Allocating work to staff to maintain deadlines set.
Requesting and issuing orders for materials required to maintain stock levels within the section.
Having vast experience in working with machine operators (such as Baby Rota,
Rota, GTO, Heidelberg, Solna & all type of Pena flex machines)
Projects
When I started with Patson Agency Bahria Town (Pvt) Ltd. as a Business Development Manager, I was assigned to handle the projects from www.freelancer.comthat included web & Publication assignments. I excelled in it successfully and got an opportunity to work with European, British & Gulf companies.
Work as part of a proactive team of support staff responsible for delivering a high quality, customer-focused professional service. Providing the very highest level of technical support and customer service to internal staff.
Duties:
Updating and monitoring IT user accounts.
Maintenance & management of the Critical Windows based Server Environment.
Maintaining up to date Antivirus levels on all machines company wide.
Working on Active Directory accounts, configuration of Blackberrys & laptops.
Managing and monitoring of backups in multiple locations.
Providing maintenance support and break-fix solutions.
Follow Documented processes i.e. implementing change control procedures.
Liaising & meeting with external suppliers of IT services.
Producing reports for senior managers.
Troubleshooting technical problems and implementing solutions.
Purchasing of IT Equipment and software in line within agreed budgets.
Supporting a multi-site IT infrastructure of at least 100 employees.
Responsible for the fast and accurate troubleshooting of reported faults.
Providing technical support via help desk systems for a wide range of internal &
external applications.
