To ensure the maintenance teams of each asset group are complicit with regulatory requirements to enable the maintainer to obtain their Safety Certificates.
Also, I am responsible for ensuring the assets are fit for purpose and in an acceptable state to be handed over as well as the associated paperwork and documentation is complete.

I am a Degree qualified Engineer with over 40 years experience in the UK and worldwide.
The majority of my experience is Rail based with Rolling Stock Maintenance, Fleet Operation and Engineering Management, I have also worked closely with both Signalling and Permanent Way teams.
I have been (and currently am), a core member of the Fleet introduction teams on various new build and existing infrastructure projects.
I recently worked as the Lead Rolling Stock Manager on the prestigious Riyadh Metro Project providing Engineering and Management support for multiple fleets and stakeholders.

Provided assurance to customers that train build, testing & commissioning was as per design and standard. Also verified design review, completed First Article Inspections on train equipment and was responsible for Factory & Final Acceptance
