Managing a range of IT projects for the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), each very different and with varying degrees of complexity. This includes the delivery of ERP & Business Systems upgrade, Comms and Collaboration and Mobility solutions. The role requires me to work with C-Level executives and 3rd party suppliers to deliver projects that replace existing systems and technologies, and which produce enterprise efficiencies and substantial cost saving).
Managed a range of IT projects, including the high profile Machinery of Government (MoG) project (directive from Prime Minister) - the creation of new departments through to small changes to a number of teams to achieve savings of £40m p/a. Other projects successfully delivered included the G-Cloud contract retender for the Secure Access ID and Access Management (IDAMS) system, LAN and Wi-Fi roll-out across DfE sites in the UK. Building effective relationships at all levels.
Responsible for driving new business and increasing market share, for obtaining instructions on properties of a suitable quality and in sufficient quantity to achieve business targets. Build relationships with Landlords and Vendors to encourage repeat business and recommendations. Oversee the internal KW procedures and systems and ensure regulations are adhered to. Leading the development and implementation of a range of key projects that contribute to a Bi-borough Customer Access Programme. Ensured the National Register for Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (NRUC) project’s priority data needs were met for the development of the management plan; Provide clear directions and instructions to both team members and key stakeholders with regards to data returns, organising national workshops and prepare co-ordinated marketing distribution of the project.
Maintained key customer base by counselling lettings representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key clients, identifying new customer opportunities. Increase revenue through new business development of direct clients by effectively managing the lettings pipeline, end to end, from prospecting to on boarding of new accounts. Supporting the sales and lettings team to meet financial objectives.
Specialised in the Insurance and Finance market sectors (Actuaries, Investment Bankers) and was responsible for Prospecting/identifying sales opportunities and developing new business leads. Conducted in-depth reviews of client and candidate circumstances, analysing information and preparing plans and designing strategies suited to requirements. Creating client and candidate databases and gathering market and competitor intelligence to increase sales.
