“The Industrial Group”, a diversified Saudi family-owned business that is engaged in Specialty chemicals, packaging and food flavor manufacturing (Group Turnover SAR 500M and total employee strength of 700) - worked at two locations, initially at Jeddah and Riyadh then moved to Jeddah head office as a Group Financial Controller manage a team of 25 people located in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Egypt and Morocco and report directly to the Chairman &CEO provide overall financial planning. reporting and analytical support to operations and regional leadership team to help achieve business plans, GPM, EBIT & EBITDA.

• Led finance department, supervised and mentored staff, and managed financials including annual business plans, provide business and finance support responsible for preparation of financial performance analysis and reports which are timely and are valuable in the decision-making process, treasury and payroll department, cash flow, forecasting and monitoring, internal and external audit management.
• Budget and forecast lead for sales, SC and logistics performance management evaluation internal and external benchmarking of financial performance.
• Managed purchasing, stock control, implementation cost reduction plans to control & improve the NWC, KPI’s for business divisions and minimize all RM’s prices, Expenses, property, services and maintenance contracts, and revenue-generation opportunities.
• Calculate variances Vs. the budget and report significant issues to management to take the required corrective actions.
• Experience with all financial accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, and month-end closing, BU’s Monthly FP & monthly presentation for the board meeting, yearend hard and soft closing.
• Manage and develop relationships with the RM’s and services providers effectively.
• Developing policies and procedures for the finance department as well as assisting the S. management in preparing policies and procedures for operations and manage the financial risk management.
• Manage O/S functions and ensure that they are in compliance with prior approvals and budgets.
• Ensure that the A/P is paid on time according to the agreed vendors' PT and the A/R are collected on time according to the approved credit policy & plan DSO
• Develop and Maintain a finance team chart of accounts in sync with Group chart of accounts.
