Responsibility;-
- Manage end-to-end process of Corporate/ Business/ Project/ Operations insurance
program.
- Updated and maintained the in house insurance Management System and related excel
spreadsheets with all reported claims, claims notes, claims status, updated reserves,
closures, and financial transactions.
- Advise on insurance claim handling and marine incident issues.
- Work with various stakeholders on claims and follow ups with brokers on existing
coverage.
- Review relevant projects that contains insurance provision to ensure that the
requirements align with existing insurance programs/policies.
- Work with risk management and other contacts in the organization to understand risks
and possible exposures or requirement under foreign jurisdiction under applicable laws.
- Provide support to company legal counsel when necessary including reviewing,
negotiating and advising on tenders, term sheets, claims, disputes, litigations,
agreements and other business documents.
- Assist Company's legal to review and coordinate contractual insurance requirements.
- Directs insurance negotiations, selects insurance brokers and carriers, and places
insurance.
- Selects appropriate techniques and implements programs and policies to minimize loss,
such as avoidance, loss prevention and reduction, retention, grouping of exposure units,
and transfer.
- Assists with policy renewals, claims, issuance of certificates, experts. Budget planning,
and risk minimization programs.
- Communicate insurance procedures, amendments as well as trade-risks related
circulars/bulletins and provide risk advisory as warranted.
- Ensure requests for Certificates of Insurance and other items are processed on a timely
basis ensuring compliance with corporate insurance policies and procedures.
- Verify insurance policies, verify premium accounting and validate premium allocations.
- Monitor and review variations, from time to time, in risks associated with
properties/operations and modify insurance risk indemnity/transfer programs (Insurance
Covers) suitably.
Manage the Insurance team and ensure that work is properly allocated and executed in
a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with the state’s statutory requirements.
- Seek/ receive insurance and liability pertinent data and information from the Corporate
Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and/or other operational arms; including claim related
information/documents.
- Evaluate information gathered by reports/investigations/analysis, identify solutions that
minimize possible risks and report findings and recommendations re: adequate and
viable financial risk transfer programs (Insurance Covers) to Management on the
corporate assets as well as against operational liabilities.
- Process/maintain insurance risk indemnity programs including execution of the
purchase process;
- Verify insurance policies, verify premium accounting and validate premium allocations.
- Monitor and review variations, from time to time, in risks associated with
properties/operations and modify insurance risk indemnity/transfer programs (Insurance
Covers) suitably
- Oversee insurance claim process including claim investigations, appointment of
surveyors, loss adjusters and provision of supporting documentation.
- Ensure timely procurement of the recoveries that are due under insurance policies.
- Oversee maintenance of insurance records/data and perform periodic review of
insurance claim records
- Develop, improve and implement procedures and processes related to the insurance
issues with a view to ensuring excellent delivery of insurance services.
- Communicate insurance procedures, amendments as well as trade-risks related
circulars/bulletins and provide risk advisory as warranted.
- Ensure requests for Certificates of Insurance and other items are processed on a timely
basis ensuring compliance with corporate insurance policies and procedures.
- Provide recommendations on new insurance hiring and ensure the availability of all
resources required to perform the Insurance tasks and activities.
Be an advocate for safety by designing and implementing projects to improve safety
results
- Comply with company and regulatory Well Control requirements and Wells
Management Standard.
- Support new build rig inspection and acceptance test monitoring in construction
shipyards
- Provide global in-country or on-site support for drilling engineering.
- Provide detailed engineering including appropriate casing design, pore pressure
analysis, directional drilling and other routine detailed engineering
- Develop effective relationships with the vendor community to achieve alignment of COP
and vendor goals.
- Support all phases of the drilling operation
- Review all daily reports and operational procedures
- Use MaxBook or equivalent well planning process
- Develop goals and performance metrics. Track and measure metrics and implement
improvements
- Comply with all regulatory requirements and demands to meet all regulatory deadlines
prior to project execution
- Interact effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide input such as scopes of work, bid evaluation, etc. for all related procurement
activities required for supporting drilling/testing/completion operations
• Execute cement bond logs though sonic and ultrasonic tools to evaluate well integrity during well completions.
• Perform open hole evaluation services with radiation sources to determine multiple formation properties including: porosity, density, hole size, resistivity, deviation, natural gamma ray and formation fluid properties.
• Communicated with client to accurately address objectives and deliver data with the best service quality possible while cultivating a long term professional relationship to generate sales and new business.
• Real time data evaluation to provide client with necessary information for urgent decisions.
• Managed three man crews to efficiently perform logging services in a safe and productive environment using wellhead pressure equipment up to 10Kpsi cranes for mechanical lifting.
