Marine Asset Manager (April 2017 - to date):
• Managing NPS Fleet, consisting of Tug Boats, Pilot and Mooring Boats, Floating Crane, and Work Boats for a total Capex of 200M USD and a yearly Opex of 5 M USD.
• Planning and monitoring the Fleet Class Surveys, ensuring that all Assets are in compliance with the Class requirements and all their work permits are valid and compliant to MOT rules and regulations;
• Leading the procurement, maintenance and quality control teams in their main tasks, to assure that contractual KPIs and assets availability are achieved;
• Auditing the Maintenance Plan and Compliance;
• Ensuring that the maintenance teams are carrying all repairs and overhauls as per OEM recommendations;
• Monitoring the contractual obligations and ensuring that they are executed as per the contract terms and conditions;
• Managing the facilities maintenance teams and the execution of new projects;
• Creating KPIs and Incentive schemes for the asset management team;
• Leading the execution of new projects and obligations requested by the Port Authorities.
• Leading the Business Development team in preparing submittals to Aramco and this includes, attending the Pre-Bid meetings in Aramco premises- Dhahran, preparing technical and commercial proposals and assisting in the committee approving the submittals and attending the closure meetings.
Global Head of Procurement, (April 2012 - to date):
• Leading the Procurement activities for IPM projects, this includes an asset portfolio of around 200 pieces of equipment in addition to grounds and facilities in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia;
• Developing, executing and maintaining effective Procurement Strategies;
• Leading the global yearly contracts with local and Int’l suppliers;
• Creating and implementing store management and stock policies to monitor the stock inflation in all projects;
• Setting Procurement KPI’s and monitoring the teams’ performance in all projects.
• Leading the evaluation of suppliers and work to reduce vendor risk by developing scoreboards and analyzing vendor performance;
• Establishing strong relationships with vendors to facilitate communication, and work to ensure delivery targets are met;
• Improving supply chain efficiency, maintaining product quality standards and reducing costs;
• Following assets warranty claims to secure that they are resolved;
• Preparing and auditing the yearly dynamic budgets based on expected volumes and revenues;
• Quarterly reviewing the capital and operational expenditures and comparing them to the approved yearly budgets;
Key Achievements:
• Completed ARAMCO pre-qualification;
• Managed the procurement of all Container Handling Equipment needed for King Abdullah Port- Saudi Arabia for a total of 500M USD;
• Managed the construction of two tugboats in China for King Fahd Industrial Port;
• Managed the construction of a pilot and mooring boats in Turkey for Al Jubail Industrial and Commercial Ports;
• Managed the purchase and delivery of a used tug boat from Mozambique to KSA, including 3rd party inspection, BIMCO contract, mobilization, security and insurance contracts and Flag and Class registration;
• Managed the docking of NPS fleet in Dammam Shipyard to complete the 5 year Special Survey;
• Managed the procurement and mobilization of Jazan Economic City Project, including: Radar System, Fire Fighting System, Navigational Buoys, Pollution Control Equipment, Tug Boats and labor camp with all required utilities;
• Implemented Supply Chain Management processes in King Abdullah Port, inc. warehouse and stock management;
• Promoted a saving plan program according to regional targets;
• Established partnerships with top end container handling equipment manufacturers;
• Managed the execution of NDT and Structural repairs on Quay Cranes at Beirut Port;
• Managed the Magnetic Flux inspection carried on Quay crane boom hoist wire ropes at Beirut Port
• Leading the bidding for all new projects, including the preparation of the technical and commercial proposals;

• Implemented store management system for the company new warehouses, including the introduction of a new ERP system and Item barcoding;

• Preparing and delivering tenders including technical and commercial proposals;
• Reviewing designs and drawings and updating contracts and agreements with suppliers; and
• Controlling and auditing the procurement activities of the projects
• Supporting Senior Piping Engineers in optimizing and automating the entire process from the design drawings (IDF, DGN) to issuing Isometrics and Spools;
• Planning, Monitoring, Material batching and take off for fabrication process;
