- Entering new sales orders into the ERP system
- Coordinating with the planning department to estimate production fulfillment dates, in order to prepare shipping schedules
- Communicating with different departments to determine different orders status and facilitate the manufacturing process
- Monitoring Stocks on daily basis for out of stock, low stock, slow moving and ready to ship items
- Issuing orders to the warehouses to prepare ready to ship items and check the items after preparation.
- Preparing invoices with the financial department and ensure that all invoices follow the customers standards
- Preparing all necessary shipping documents and governmental documents that are needed for each shipment to ensure smooth shipping procedure
- Contacting different shipping companies to get the best rates (Air, Land and Sea freights)
- Contacting customers to inform them of the orders status, shipping dates and any delays if found
- Following up shipments to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Preparing monthly and annual reports that indicate the KPIs of the logistics department
- Participating in half year and annual inventory counts
- Transform sales orders and annual forecasts into production orders
- Entering production orders into the ERP system
- Executing weekly and monthly production plans to utilize staff and machine capacities
- Monitoring raw materials, packaging material and finished goods to ensure a smooth production process and order fulfillment
- Monitoring different production steps and order status
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports to show the planning deparment KPIs
- Creating bill of materials for all products in order to determine the cost of each SKU
- Creating a coding system for warehouse SKUs for easier raw materials and finished goods monitoring
- Implement the base data to be used in the future when an ERP system is implemented
- Monitoring raw materials stocks to ensure smooth production process
- Preparing daily production plans
- Monitoring raw and packaging materials and calculating safety stocks based on sales forecasts to ensure a smooth production process
- Contacting suppliers to replenish low stock materials while coordinating with the warehouses to utilize warehouse capacity
- Contacting new local and international suppliers and getting quotations to ensure the best price and best quality of raw and packaging materials
- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly report to show the KPIs of the supply chain department
