Currently working as an experienced associate in the Assurance and Business Advisory service (ABAS). I have gained diversified professional experience and tackled multiple assignments simultaneously. I have been involved in conducting the planning, execution and completion of statutory audit and review engagements. My responsibilities include;
• Planning and execution of external audit procedures in line with local GAAP, international auditing standards and financial reporting requirements, including delivery of annual audit reports
• Responsible for identifying potential audit issues as part of audit planning, using knowledge and experience gained from working on a portfolio of different clients, as well as deciding on appropriate audit procedures to gather assurance over key audit risks
• Assists in the training and coaching of junior members of staff.
• Maintain client relationships at the appropriate level and present a favorable impression of the firm
• Act with objectivity, independence and integrity at all times.
• Keep myself up-to-date with any changes or planned changes in accounting standards and understand their impact upon the audit strategy.
• Provide timely feedback to senior manager in relation to ongoing job performance with a view to avoiding surprises.
• Prepare and critically review statutory accounts to ensure they fully meet company law and financial reporting requirements

• Preparing VAT return.
• Preparing Income Tax returns for individuals.
• Compiling profit and loss account of various clients.
Worked with one of the largest firm to look after below listed day to day business activities for their blue chips

• Perform internal control and substantive testing.
• Document audit procedures and cross reference work papers.
• Preparing audit working papers and collecting sufficient appropriate audit evidence.
