I work across business to manage number of strategic projects of different complexity. I am responsible for the risk management, strategic planning, quality management, internal quality audits and business continuity and contingency planning.

I acted in the roles of Deputy Director Operational Management, Deputy Director Commercial Operation Working with Children Check Unit and Regional Manager Finance and Resource Management and was able to meet and deliver on the expectations of those roles.

Achievements
- I developed a risk management and assurance program, which was described as best practice by the Internal Auditors.
- I led one of two teams to design a ‘fit for purpose’ organisational structure, as part of the organisational realignment project, in which the project was successful in meeting its objectives, as acknowledged by the Executive Leadership Team and the Executive Directors.
- I developed and implemented a Quality Management Framework, which was described by the Auditor General Audit Team as a very established and comprehensive quality assurance framework that provides a strong level of compliance, control and review.
- I established and managed the business planning process.
- I developed Unit wide policies and processes, such as the management of sensitive information policy, the complaints policy and procedures, the training and induction policy, the internal quality audit policy and plan, and the facility emergency procedures.
- I developed and participated in the development of documents and plans at the regional level, such as the Regional Quality Audit Plan and the Business Continuity Plan.
- I am a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Project Control Group, Regional Audit and Reporting Committee, Continuous Improvement Committee, and the Learning & Development Committee.

Achievements:
- I introduced an organisational wide quality management system that addressed compliance and performance, and achieved a certification to ISO 9001 Standard.
- I developed and implemented a risk management system through the introduction of a risk management program and negotiated the procurement of an electronic risk management system.
- I developed and implemented a health & safety management system, which resulted in the achievement of an external accreditation.
- I integrated the quality and health & safety management systems, where Wyndham City Council became one of the few Councils with an established Council wide integrated management system.
- I introduced a Council wide emergency management program, which led to the successful negotiation, procurement and the installation of EWIS System.
- I established a continuous improvement process which contributed to the reward sharing performance program at a later stage.
- I assisted in the preparation and introduction of the Council contract management program and the follow up induction and training to staff and contractors.
- I reviewed contractors' quality assurance plans and internal audit programs to ensure the contractor obligations relating to quality aspects of the contracts are met.
- I introduced and implemented spot contractor audits.
