1.Supply Planning:
• Inventory management in the plant for around 200 items with a yearly value of 100 Million Euro.
• Responsible for developing the 18-month active Supply Network Plan that balances constrained demand with supply.
• Responsible for maintaining sufficient inventory of raw materials to fulfill production needs.
• Reviews product ranges and recommends changes in product category/class when appropriate.
• Ensures that Master Data is accurate and up-to-date in the relevant planning system.
2.Process Advisor for S&OP:
Ensure area execution of S&OP Process Standards and address supply issues at the appropriate pre-S&OP and S&OP.Senior Supply Chain representative at regional pre-S&OP responsible for identifying, resolving or escalating Supply Network issues.
3.Facilitate Maintenance of Service Level Agreements:
• Facilitates periodic review of Service Level Agreements at pre-S&OP with endorsement at S&OP to balance service levels and cost to serve. Annually reviews logistics rules for materials movements and updates system. Manage Planning Strategies and Business Rules for Supply Chain.
4.S&OP Decision Support:
• Provide decision support to Regional S&OP decision makers along with Regional Supply Chain on the impact to supply of potential decision alternatives. Develop alternative solutions to supply constraints.
5.Manage Supply Chain Performance Measures:
• Understands forecast accuracy & basis; OTIF results, root cause analysis & corrective action plan
6.Demand Planning:
1.Drive the cross-functional, collaborative demand forecasting process for all products in a distributive area
• Ensure the Sales Managers communicate information affecting the forecast prior to generation of the initial forecast (use existing reports where applicable and gather necessary information regarding new/lost business, events, promotions, planned supply disruptions, etc.); manage initial inputs and incorporate into forecast as appropriate.
• Conduct demand analysis to determine high error/high volume customers and terminals; generate statistically-valid forecast; apply market knowledge (event profiles, market trends, seasonality, etc.) to determine overrides necessary within the statistical forecast.
• Manage the Demand review Meeting process of the forecast to ensure Sales applies market intelligence and accepts accountability for forecast numbers; challenge overrides with the Sales to ensure sound logic is applied when changing unconstrained forecast; effectively negotiate with all parties involved to ensure agreement of one consensus forecast number is achieved prior to sending to S&OP for optimization.
• Ensure pricing strategy is adequately incorporated into the forecast by collaborating with the pricing organization through regular meetings/calls.
• Manage and cleanse historical data: Communicate with all concerned parties to identify new terminals, non-availability of existing products, introduction of seasonal product, and/or discontinuation of product; identify outliers in sales history and apply overrides or event profiles to allow for increased accuracy of future forecast numbers.
2.Create weekly and event-based refreshes to the forecast as appropriate
• Determine and apply criteria for triggering a forecast refresh (execute demand forecasting process for locations/products out of tolerance).
• Liaison between Sales and Scheduling organizations to facilitate alignment between Schedulers and Sales organization before Schedulers make overrides to the forecast.
3.Lead the Demand Forecasting learning lookback process with the Sales organization and provide information in support of the S&OP lookback process
