Main duties:
• Project drawings, schedule, contract terms and specifications documentation.
• Ensure that all drawings, documentation and records in use are reviewed, approved and controlled for adequacy;
• Ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, design instruction, contract documents.
• Provide site engineers with technical support
• Plan and schedule the project activities in liaison with planning engineer;
• Review and monitor the progress of the project
• Compare actual work with time schedules and cost estimates
• Plan resources and plant requirements and arrange procurement to suit program requirements;
• Preparation of procurement requests, detailing, and offers evaluation
• Interact with the Material Engineer regarding the material submittal and specifications, resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
• Review and issue order to pay for subcontractors’ abstracts and invoices.
• Ensure the implementation of the Project Quality Plan;
• Provide management with updated reports
• liaise with consultant and subcontractors;
• Trouble-shoots engineering related installation problems.
• ensure safe work environments
•Cathodic Protection Installation and Taking Readings for pipe lines
• Embedded PVC Conduits, sleeves and Ducts designing and installing
